Many of them are off :( Kleiza's rating is wayt too low. It should've been at least 64 for him :/ Also, Jennings needs to be similar to Curry's at 79-80. And Maggette 78 is too high for him I think. Jennings is better than him. Also, Derick rose needs to be rated at 88-90, but I think he will have somthing like A- potential so after 1-2 season he should be ok. Nowtizki is too underrated and Duncan is too overrated.

All in all, I'm not too pleased about player ratings, but let's hope players will play like they play in real life and overall rating doesn't make too much difference.

Linas Kleiza 55? That just ridiculous! He was one of the best players in World Championship, he truly deserves to be 70, possibly 73

Brandon Jennings should be 80, not 75

I believe Noah is better than 73 (maybe around 78 would be good)

They overrated Loul Deng, i'd say give him 72

Darren Collision is really not a 80 guy! cmon! terrible!

If you give Hamilton 77, you absolutely cannot give Ben Wallace..... 74.

It's Dwyane, not Dewayne Wade... do-oh

I like it how they didn't give Durant less than 91 (y)

Other than that, I'd say they did OK

Do you guys not pay attention to Andrew or others that post here? There are certain categories that boost overall more than others. Stop overrating overall!

If you don't wanna "overrate" the overall, just don't. I feel happy doing what i do :)

Besides, overall is meant to represent how good a player is by putting all his ratings into one number, and if one rating adds more to the overall, that means it's more important.

The problem with whining about the overall is that it doesn't say what to fix, it just suggests you goose the individual ratings to placate someone who is irrational. If you don't think Kleiza's rating is accurate, than go in and say which of the individual ratings are wrong, and then change them yourself so they are accurate.

If everyone stopped giving overalls so much attention then the game developers could finally do away with them and improve the game.

Exactly, it's all in the individual ratings. If they are correct, the overall rating doesn't matter.

The only thing worse in giving weight to overall ratings are the suggestions for the overall ratings...

XPviper wrote:Derick rose needs to be rated at 88-90
You must be out of your damn mind. He can't be higher than an 85.

SkyLine03LT wrote:Ben Wallace..... 74
Ben Wallace was actually good last season compared to most big men starters. That rating is just about right.

SkyLine03LT wrote:Linas Kleiza 55? That just ridiculous! He was one of the best players in World Championship, he truly deserves to be 70, possibly 73
Like I said in another thread, this is NBA 2K11 not a game about FIBA. 55 seems a bit low for him, he should be in the 60's range.

Name other guards that got 18 ppg and 9 apg or higher as a starter.

Also posted over on Operation Sports.

Ben's basically covered my response to the ratings. Yes, there are some that may look "wrong" but tweaking the individual ratings so that the overall looks more "accurate" is the wrong approach and far too much is made of overall ratings.

rating looks pretty decent. idk why people say jennings should be an 80..75 is about right! my only problem with the rating is rookie john wall an 80 and rookie jordan a 79 :?: and i wanted to see joakim a lil higher but overall its an ok list!

Agreed. The main problem is that the CPU uses them primarily to determine the starting line-ups for the CPU-controlled teams, which is wrong. With those listed ratings, if he was traded, then Darren Collison would be starting ahead of guys like Devin Harris, Mo Williams, Brandon Jennings, Jameer Nelson, Baron Davis and Tony Parker. 5 of those 6 guys are quite recent All-Stars, and they've earned their stripes, whereas Collison hasn't really proven anything yet.

There need to be other factors at play when deciding those things.

Although, with the Association improvements, those trades will be hopefully far less frequent or abolished entirely.

Yeah that can be a problem, but perhaps less so with the revamped Association AI this year.

McGuire, Joe Alexander, Graham, Kapono, Derrick Brown, James Jones, DaJuan Summers, Daye, Moon better than Kleiza?

Pretty horrrible ratings overall. Another two, three hours to tweak the ratings.

Okay, Kleiza's overall is too low this time. Don't need no argues. He should be minimum 65. Come on, 2K... I think, when i will install 2K11, the first thing i'll do is increase Linas' overall.. :?

Kleiza was great at the World Championships in Turkey, especially in the semis against the USA.

In 29min he managed to score 4 points (1-11 FG), grabbed 5 rebounds and had 4 turnovers. 55 overall in NBA 2K11 sounds just about right.

He also had 41 pts against Deron Williams and Utah Jazz squad. The fact that he had one bad (in fact, terrible) game doesn't change the fact that he's a good player. Doing some research sounds about right for you.

Acie Earl scored 40 points in a game once.

Tony Delk once scored 53.
