no new roster in EA official patch ?!??

hi
i just downloaded the official patch, everything seeeeemed to be fine, though 1. there's no trade taken in account (old roster ?!?).. and 2. i'm not sure it worked as it not mentioned anywhere the version number that is currently running. . . .

then i downloaded the rtp file, but then what is to be done ?!??..

It is not ment to udate the rosters, It is mentto fix the Customart-problems. Atleast thats how thought it was ment to be

Right click on the nba2004.exe and select "Properties" and then click "Version"...the latest file version should be 1.0.0.4.

if you want new rosters get the official NLSC roster updates... EA did not release the patch to update the roster, but to solve custom art crashes, and custom team limits.

Just to add to what has already been said, the official patch does not correct any issues other than the three mentioned (resolution, CustomArt and the custom team limit). It does not affect gameplay or any other options, nor update the rosters.

i love the new patch, what it also does, is it makes t so you can add a infinate ammount of Custom teams so thats awesome

it's not infinate, according to ben there has to be some limit, we're just not sure what yet...

thx.. so i right-clicked onto the nba2004.exe AFTER having patched the game (through the EA page), BUT it's still the 1.0.0.1 version !!!!!!!!!....
how come ?!??
it's written "patch installed" after the download has been made from EA site, but still no effect...

another way to patch it ? what to do with .rtp file ??
