Now that we know the countries that will participate in the next round, here's who I think will qualify to the quarterfinals:

Serbia vs. Croatia - Serbs have the upper hand. Although Croatia is skillful offensively, their defense isn't so great. Serbia's defense is excellent and they're very crafty offensively. Croatia's weakness is also free-throws (they have so far made 62.7% as a team, while Serbia makes 78.5%), which are crucial in every game.

Spain vs. Greece - Spain will win hands down, unless they suck like the game against France. They'll be extra motivated, having avoided Team USA in the quarterfinals, they'll have more chance at the medals. Their fast offense will be problematic for the Greeks. Defensively, the Greeks will have a slight advantage.

Turkey vs. France - home crowd will help propel the undefeated Turkey against the fleeting France.

Slovenia vs. Australia - this game is a toughie. Both teams are excellent offensively, and Australia is slightly better on defense. I'll go with Aussies on this one.

USA vs. Angola - we all know who the winner will be. USA will beat the hell out of poor Angola.

Russia vs. New Zealand - Russia will win the game after a hard fight. Russia showed a pretty solid performance so far, even without its leaders.

Lithuania vs. China - even if it means coming back from a huge deficit in the second half, Lithuania will shut down the Chinese. The huge crowd of Lithuanian fans will help Lithuania go on to the quarterfinals.

Argentina vs. Brazil - Argentina has been struggling in the tournament, winning games even against weak teams in single digits. Brazil, on the other hand, was solid against weak teams. However, defensively and offensively, Argentina seems to have an edge over Brazil, so I'll go with Argentina, but it should be an interesting game to watch.

 Told you, you just didn't listen.

Our road is infinitely harder now that we beat France. Had we of rolled over & lost it, we would've had a much easier route to semis (Turkey then Australia). Now it's Russia then USA. I know which teams I would prefer to play :P

Would love to see NZ get one more win then have Penney light up the Americans (Y)

I wanted to put China with memories of a single digit win to get through from group stage... but not sure without Yao as Yi is as soft as Yip.

Today is a big match!
Spain vs Greece!
Hopefully we will beat Spain. If we play at least with 85% of our abilities we have a strong chance to win!
The thing is to take care of Gasol and Navarro and then Rudy and Rubio.

Bouroussis,Spanoulis and Diamantidis should really step up and if Sofo can get some fouls from Gasol that would be great

Yeap.As it's impossible for any team to reach 100% of their abilities, and concerning that Spain is a little deformed and they won't get any help from the referees like other competitions, we can beat them.

About this match, I believe the margin will be MOSTLY 10 points. Both of teams know themselves. At Greece, if Diamantidis and Spanoulis is good, they win. Spain is similar. Rubio and Navarro are the X-Factors for this great team.
