EA Roster Update....Pretty Weak

Sat Feb 21, 2004 5:11 am

I'm kind of disappointed in the roster updates online. EA really just half asses the online update, and it kinda pisses me off. I've been playing live on the PC from live 95 to 2000 when my computer was too slow for the new versions. Of course with the PC I would just download the roster patches with all the updated ratings, numbers, positions etc. So until this year I've had to manually do the updates for the console when I got the network adaptor. But JEEZ what a rip off!!! All EA does is just swap around the players that need to be swaped. Half the positions aren't right, so when you start a dynasty the teams send out an unrealistic starting lineup. Also they don't even look at the ratings. So when they move around the starting lineups once your in a season/dynasty the highest player is going to be moved into the starting 5, even if they don't play for real (Ex. Darko). At least with Madden they do the injuries AND they update ratings throughout the season. I love Live but c'mon EA make my spending $30 on the adaptor worth something!

Yeah Staphen Jackson looks all whacked out. And they still didn't update the ratings. Zach Randolph a 57??? Positions aren't right either.
