VIDEO CARD SETTINGS

I just got a radeon 9600 XT 256MB video card.... and NBA live plays worse now than it did on my 128mb Geforce Ti4200 ( a very good card itself) ... I was wondering if it's my settings within the game that need to be changed to accomdate the card??

Hey bro, should a put this 1 in Technical Issues, u will get more replies 
Depanding on your motherboard you might need to change some of your BIOS setting, Possibly ur AGPx8 and Memory settings(128 to 256). Also make sure you have latest Catalist, a new one has just been released!
9600XT is a much better card the Ti4200, it not the best card, not by a long way but for the money its the best u can get, u should see a big improvement when ur playing Maxed out@!
PS-Unless u know what ur doing within the Bios settings i suggest you get somebody to do it for. Its a 2 second job, but if u change something u shouldnt, your machine might fail to boot or crash after it does, u get the idea!

And not to mention the extra 128MB won't improve much. Aren't the core/mem. clocks lower?

9600XThas a core of 425(ish) depending on who makes it, i have seen it as high as 475, thats default core, not overclocked. Its the same with memory, 450 upto about 600. Asus's 9800xt has a lower Core(412) than there 9600XT which is 450 
The reason i know this crap is i compiled a review on DX9 GPUs. In terms of MID range performance and price 9600xt is almost high end. It out performs Nvidias 5600 & 5700. FX5700 is only just coming down from the £200 mark and u can pick up Asus's 9600Xt for £130 and it a BETTER card, it out performs it in almost every catagory.\/\/HOA!
I have a Titanuim 4800SE 128DDR2
overclocked CORE=275/307
MEM=550/620
Its the Daddy of Geforce 4s the last one they produced from that family.
So far it handle almost every DX9 game at more or less Max settings. Its starting to creak abit know, FARCRY demo beats the shit out it. I can only maintain above 60FPS with every thing low, put it all up max and i get about 35fps. Im gonna save up some cash and wait to see what Nvidia next, there latest is FX5950 its £400!
I will shut up now!

Hi i was wondering what card to get? If I want to have the same resolution as the xbox, what card would you guys suggest.

Depends on your Budget and spec of your PC? Post a reply with this info and i will tell u IMO which is the best card for u to get!
