You forgot arguably the best basketball movie: Above the Rim. Then there's "Remember the Titans," "O," (it was ok), and there's some football one I can't think of...

I didnt, the dude of the site did. :P

"O," (it was ok)

Wasnt "O" with Julia Styles, Josh Hartnett and Mekhi Phifer (the dude from 8 Mile)...wasnt that a loosely based movie on Shakespeare's play, "Othello"?

That movie was about basketball, but the point of the movie was really the jealousy and everything...I wouldnt really classify it as a sports movie. That's just my opinion though...

Remember the Titans was my favorite.

Everyone on TV says "Hoosiers" is the best Bball movie, but I've never seen it.

What about Air Bud?(just kidding)
He Got Game?

Wasnt "O" with Julia Styles, Josh Hartnett and Mekhi Phifer (the dude from 8 Mile)...wasnt that a loosely based movie on Shakespeare's play, "Othello"?

I didnt know it was based on a Shakespeare play. But, yeah, that's 'O'. I didnt really like the movie. It was based on mostly jealousy, like you said. 'O'(Mekhi Phifer) was really messed up and shit. That one white dude decided to mess with him, and make it look like his girlfriend (Julia Styles) was cheating on him. In the end he found out and killed himself.

Looked up some bballs movies and read that "Rebound: The Legend of Earl 'The Goat' Manigault" would be very good (7.8@imdB) also a movie called "Final shot:The Hank Gathers Story" should be good. Almost impossible to find these kind of movies in my country (N)

Yeah, it was based on Othello, I wouldnt have known, it's because we had to watch it for an English class back on the island, that's the only reason I knew.
