Whatever happened to Sheed anyway? I thought he "took back" his retirement schtick?

Also, this is the only O'Neal left for the Celtics to sign:

So it seems that Boston is to force retirees, not bad

Pathetic.

You're such a hater man, you're just burning up Wade can fall with such flair and that Miami got Lebron and you're hating. Ya'll are afraid of how awesome the Heat are going to be. Like the rest of the NBA, especially the Lakers & Celtics, they are so afraid they will injure the Heat players cuz they're afraid. Derek Fisher will just look at Juwan Howard and he'll rupture his spleen but that's not because they are old as fuck, it's because Fisher is dirty. Mmkay? Mmkay.

On topic:

Fuck O'Neal, fucking disgrace.

One fakers fan finally making some sense!!! :P

Sauru wrote:celtics may be dirty but they earned the championship, they didnt flop their way to it screwing dirk in the process (btw alot more dirty teams than celtics and lakers)

Celtics earned it right. But if the Heat collaborated with officials to win it all, they weren't the first team nor the last team to win it that way. Anyways, by 'dirty' I was just messing and meant more in the complimentary way, that you guys play with higher intensity and tough characters. With that said, 'dirty' in NBA I don't think is that bad at all. Hey, Artest plays dirty, but he's still one of my favorite.

As for now, contenders adding some amazing pieces, first Heat, then Lakers, finally Celtics. I'm just excited my team is even in the discussion.

Is it just me or are the Celtics gearing up for another LAL-BOS finals possibility?

I really think the Celtics are trying to get to the finals and they're trying to outdo Miami. I honestly don't want to see either the Lakers or Cletics in the NBA 2011 Finals

Surprising that Shaq would accept the veterans minimum.

Why? Nobody was going to give him a contract worth more than the $1.4 million the minimum is.

The finals will be Bulls-Thunder

Heat will be shattered by Celtics in the semis and they will lose at the finals by the Bulls.

I just can't imagine shaq in green! Like a huge lettuce!

Team's average age will be something like 32! It's like the AC Milan of the NBA!

Two year deal, interesting. Wonder if he'll play it out, taking him through to 20 NBA seasons.

It remains to be seen which number he'll choose, seeing as though #32 and #33 are retired and Pierce currently wears #34.

He can't wear 35 or 3, either. Maybe lucky number 7? 3+4?
