It's no surprise really. Even in the past (80's to present?) White American superstars are rare compared to their Black American counterparts. Ones I could think of right now are Stockton, Bird, and McHale.
Now consider that
development of young foreign players have improved or even better than the American system. The rare sight of a White American superstar will be even more rare as fundamentally developed foreign players enter the league.
Let's clarify, White American superstars have always been few even before the 'foreign invasion'.
As for White American 'normal' players, I still think they outnumber the White foreign normal players.
If White foreign normal players outnumber the White American ones, how else would you explain Brian Scalabrine still listed in an NBA roster?
