Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

Its actually pretty easy if you choose to make a point guard. As a power forward, almost never getting the ball can be difficult (though you get lots of teammate points for boxing out)

Being a defensive SF is a pain.

It's easy with all the positions, you just get shit luck sometimes. I have a 6-11, 192lb SF (from those dimensions you should be able to tell that I'm recreating people from an old Live 2000 franchise) and went for 23/18/15 with 5 blocks in his first NBA game and he's rated 53 overall. I have a 47 rated center/power-forward who can consistently get 10/15/4 with 3 blocks.
Really, you just have to know the limitations of the player along with how the game works. When you're rated poorly you can't take the ball every possession and try to dunk on everyone but you can be extremely effective with positioning, taking advantage of situations that arise and reacting quickly. You know, like real life.
You can get places by pounding the ball into the floor and taking stupid shots (insert list of endless number of players who made millions doing this) but you don't get as much on-court reward as if you play smartly and exploit your skills properly.

I had a 48 overall, 6'8, 199 lbs slasher SF. Averages of 22-8-6 on 64% shooting weren't a problem, though I don't recall making a jump-shot.

I have trouble with jumpers, too. If I take a random jumper, I probably make it. If I look for my jumpshot, its going to brick. I am horrible at 3pt shots, too. I have to be open to make them.

The most fun I had was playing with DeJuan Blair, dude always got my back. Always had a high teammate rating when playing with him.

Had my statistics exam today. Went pretty well but I also learned a lot (especially during the semester). One exam left and I will be a free man for 2 1/2 month.

Spending some time on my Nba live 2005 pc & still kick ass at it. Right now Lebron, Bosh & Wade are all feeling Derrick Rose's wrath. But seriously its fun playing against this new Heat team.

Got an email from someone asking for info on editing NBA Live 08 PC. As per usual, I directed him to our tutorials and the tools section in our Downloads database, to which he thanked me and sent me a link for a website that sells electronics and told me they're currently having a sale. In other words, paid spammers are getting devious, or a spambot uprising is looming.

...Judgment Day is imminent!
EDIT: I'm doing a video with After Effects, starting off with a saved replay from 2K10. Honestly speaking though, I'm missing having Live (or Elite on that matter) on the PC.
