2010 Mid-Year Music Thread

We're slightly past the mid-year point, and I can't really do any picking as I've been years behind for years (outside of Coheed and Cambria - "Far"), as reflected in my picks last year.

But everyone else should put some things up, top fives and such.

Amity Affliction are growing in popularity here at a pretty rapid rate. Youngbloods was like their old stuff but with better production. Symptoms and Cures is fantastic as is Attack Of The Wolf King (surprisingly), and while Deep Blue isn't as good as it should've been it's still pretty great.

This One's For You was probably the most disappointing release for me, even though it's in my top ten. They can do so much better but it's still a pretty cool album.

4. Story of the Year - The Constant
5. Linkin Park - 1000 Suns [even though it hasn't come out yet either] If it's like their last CD, I am definitely taking this one off the list.

This year's kind of sucked so far, but those are still pretty awesome.

Well, I've never found an a7x song I hate... but I said the same thing about Linkin Park in 2007... Oh, well, I've got it on pre-order, and I'm getting it anyway, just cause I like A7X.
