What are you doing or what did you do today?

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

Gonna learn for my next test on monday. The only good thing is that the weather has turned around massively, raining the whole day after having a record-like July with top temperatures aroun 35°C.

Enjoy drinking, guys!

Worked 9 hours, just getting back and apparently posting in this thread. Only a baby shower planned for this weekend, and probably some weed whacking since it's been raining lately and only weeds fucking grow around here. Whoopdedoo.

I learned to drive on manual transmission today. If I hear the word clutch one more time, I'm gonna puke!

So apparently I drank too much and burned a lot of bridges and got pretty keyed, and made a fool of myself.

Good day overall.

The first time learning how to drive a manual transmission car is a bitch. Once you get the hang of it things become a lot more easier though. (y)

The hardest part is learning to take your foot gradually off the clutch and gradually accelerating, but I kinda got the hang of it.

I was too lazy to walk to the store so I borrowed a car that happened to be a stick. That's how I learned. Stalled twice on the way there, none on the way back.

You only have to do that when you are at a complete stop and you want to go into first or reverse. Once you are moving you can just shift into the next gear.

I played tennis to day and broke both the strings on each of my racquets in virtually the same place.

Man, I did not have a drink for over two months now. While this is not really bad at all (at least it feels quite healthy), I'd love to get out and have a drink soon (after my exams)

Spent a good portion of today sleeping. Getting up at five wasn't the best way to start a Bucks Day/Night that went into the early hours of the next morning.

I heard My Player mode is too difficult for its own good.

I'm just gonna stay home all day, playing video games. Might have another go at manual transmission driving. :)

nothing wrong with difficult,

had a fun, difficult time getting my guy through celtics training camp without being cut and my first 2 NBA games required me to stop boozer from getting more than 2 points in the paint and my 2nd one I had to stop Peja from getting 50% shooting (he hit 1 buzzer beater 3 and never touched the ball again)

it is difficult but I love challenging games

I usually cuss at my TV if something gets too difficult, but I've always wanted to try My Player Mode.
