Contemplating suicide for reading this forum topic.

Actually, I've wondered if a thread like this could be useful or whether we should just turn the Letting Off Steam thread into a general conversation thread to achieve that purpose. I've noticed other boards make use of a general chit-chat sort of thread in their off-topic sections for "What I did today" kind of stuff, perhaps we could try it.

So we'd have a half-dead "general talk" thread in our half-dead "general talk" section?

Also, those forums probably have people who are interesting.

That's rather glib...though point taken. No harm in trying these things though.

So right now my sleep schedule is fucked due to Summer vacation, so I can't get to sleep until like 3 in the morning. In the meantime, I'm posting on these forums, and preparing to go to a small music festival tomorrow by listening up on the more obscure acts.

I'm terrible when it comes to getting to bed early. I still get up at a reasonable time unless I've actually been out late the night before and tend to catch up on sleep with afternoon naps at the weekend.

If you go to bed early, and don't have a DVR, you can't watch Red Eye w/ Greg Gutfeld.

Well, I guess this doesn't apply to anyone who just posted since Andrew gets it at about 4 in the afternoon, and Lamecock gets it at midnight. Lucky bastards, especially the latter. It's been raining for the last few days and everyone is butt hurt about it, rain is great especially when it's part of a front, much better than oppressive stagnant 90 degree with 99% humidity while the grass all dies from lack of rain and there's no wind.

See, Letting Off Steam is just find for this. If it's good news it can go in the Good News Thread and you can be banned for lording over everyone with your "perfect life" and "lack of alcohol fueled anger and hatred."

Well like I said, maybe we can rename that thread so it doesn't just have to be about bad stuff.

This thread works for good news/bad news scenarios, like when you are running, and you feel endorphins, but don't know how to stretch properly afterwards, and will be sore the next day. Or when you get dunked on by Patrick Chewing.
