You need to replace the faces right. Everybody has done it and it works fine for everyone.

I joined this site because I came across this thread. This roster file looks amazing. I'm over at Operation Sports a lot, and I appreciate anyone who creates rosters. I have released 1986-87 and 1992-93 roster files for NBA 2K10 for XBOX 360. I have also edited the equipment for Suirad's 1991-92 ESPN NFL 2K5 roster file and re-released it last summer, so maybe he remembers me.
But I have never seen anything like this. I plan on picking up this game for PC just for this, but I'm not exactly computer savvy so I'm sure I'll have difficulty getting this roster and edits up and running. All I do Is follow the instructions on the first page? It's that easy?
More questions:
Are any players missing? If so which ones?
How does the PC version of this game play compared to the 360 version? pretty much the same?
Were ratings, tendencies, signatures, and hotspots edited for all players?
Are full rosters included for every team? If so, everyone's faces are accurate? Anyone have generic faces?
Any info is appreciated. The videos and pics for this look absolutly amazing man. Looks flat out awesome guys.

Hi there I'll try to answer all of your questions:
Are any players missing? If so which ones?
Yes, the team reserves and players who didn't play a significant amount of games in the NBA that season like Rory Sparrow or Tony Massenburg, for example.
Were ratings, tendencies, signatures, and hotspots edited for all players?
Yes
Are full rosters included for every team?
Yes, for most teams they're most used 12 man roster for that season. 1 or 2 teams have 13 players.
If so, everyone's faces are accurate? Anyone have generic faces?
There are many players who have generic faces (but the closest to resemble their real life counter parts) because on the forums, the majority of the face makers prefer to work on today's players. But there are a lot (and I mean a significant number) of players with their own faces.
How does the PC version of this game play compared to the 360 version? pretty much the same?
Better. PC version of games are the same as console games (Video games are made on computers after all)...if you have a decent PC with a decent video card you will have an amazing experience with many games and even better than console because on PC you can modify stuff.
P.S.
Once you have downloaded everything, don't forget to download the updates

UpdateI've posted a new roster update (section 1) with fixes in tendencies, sig shots and stats for several players alongside a large face update at the bottom of page 1.
Enjoy everyone

So if I download everything that belongs in the main folder and saves folder, will it still work if I save it to a portable memory stuck? Are the main and saves folders easy to access in the menu's of the game.
I am seriously considering going out and picking up the pc version of this game tomorrow just b/c of this. I'm not very computer savvy but was able to figure out how to download CFL rosters and use them on Madden 08, which was the only other pc game I can remember playing since the 90's. So if I figured that out hopefully I can figure this out. thanks again.

Hey man, I just wanted to say thanks for this great patch! I just downloaded it today and only played one game, but so far I'd say its probably my favorite patch all around that I have downloaded. You can tell that you and whomever else contributed, really put in a lot of effort. I was really plesantly suprised that you got so many accurate cyber faces into the roster, unlike some of the other retro rosters I've downloaded. Add in the old school arenas and the old-school shorts and everything else and it really has that early 90's authentic feel to it. I played my first game with the Bulls and the old Chicago stadium looked very accurate, well atleast from how I recall it looked. I was young when it was still being used, I think I wasn't even 10 when it was demolished but I went to a few Bulls and Blackhawks games there. Anyways, just wanted to say thanks and keep up the great work! Oh and I made a video at 2k with your roster, check it out if you want:

i would love to post some comments here.
I checked some of the new faces and sarunas marciulionis has mikki moore's face and draidlocks.
AJ English (WAS) has Alex English's portrait, while Alex English never played in Washington.
Michael Adams (WAS) should be #10.
Nate McMillan (SEA) #10.
Ennis Whatley (POR) #50.
Robert Pack (POR) #14.
Alaa Abdelnaby (POR) #31.
Dave Jamerson (HOU) #32.
Mike Brown (UTA) #40.
Jon Koncak (ATL) #32.
Loy Vaught (LAC) #35.
Bo Kimble (LAC) #30.
Kenny Payne (PHI) #21.
Marc Acres (ORL) is named Otis Smith, while position, jersey number and other data are of Marc Acres.
And again, don't take this as a criticism, all i want is to make this patch better.

GaryT good too see you on board. aloncho11 thank you some much for your work, this patch really feels like NBA 2K92, a much better era with cooler players than today. My only question is I would like to sometimes use the 1992-93 draft but I have trouble with putting them in Association mode. I tried what you said with setting trades to no, and allow trade override but when I pick the Charlotte Hornets I can't draft Zo. could you please give a step by step instructions so I could recreate the 1992-93 seasons with Shaq, Zo, Latrell playing in their teams. I can make trades but do not know how to draft the 1992-93 draft you have created. Once again thank you.

Mon Jul 19, 2010 10:42 pm

Tue Jul 20, 2010 12:36 am
