I've seen similar situation happen with friends, except in this case it carried on for a month or two, & when shit hit the fan, it got very messy & awkward for mutual friends.

As for your situation, that's some pretty cold stuff right there, although I wouldn't put it past a couple of my "friends" to do the same thing to me if given a chance. Alcohol is no excuse. One thing is kissing her then quickly realising & stopping the situation. The fact it went on for a few minutes probably meant either your friendship doesn't mean that much to you or that you're just a selfish prick.

I guess the one positive out of it is you just kissed her, doesn't sound like it got to sexual side from what you are saying. That would be a friendship & relationship breaker right there.

I don't know whether you should fess up, it's a tough call. I'm usually of adage that the truth shall set you free, & I actually think it would. However you shouldn't throw her under a bus without her knowing (even if she is a bitch). You should definitely try to talk to her to clear the air to ensure that both of you agree that it was a one-off mistake & that there are no lingering feelings from either side (e.g. she might think you have feelings for her).
