Black Dynamite is the best movie since Lost Skeleton of Cadavra.

If you haven't seen either of these movies you're worse than Hitler.

Black Dynamite is the best movie since Lost Skeleton of Cadavra.

Finally someone else mentions it. That flick was brilliant.

Kill Bill Vol 1 and 2, crossing a couple more off the list of movies I really should see. As good as advertised. (Y)

See i never bothered with 2 because i hated 1: they were hyped to me as greatest movies ever by a girl i was trying to get with at the time. Needless to say, nothing happened.

Despicable Me wasn't bad. Was funny and my first 3D movie experience as well which was interesting.

Loved those two as well, clearly made by someone who loves the art of cinema.

Just saw A Serious Man from the Coen brothers. It went even more under the radar than what they typically do, but I really liked it. Here as well you can see how much it was shot by people who love the movie making process. It's awkward and full of dark humor, with great lines and characters, and a few unanswered questions as usual. I'm just a sucker for anything from the Coens.

Greatest movies ever? Yeah, I'll stop short of that and they weren't really sold to me as such so perhaps that helped. It was actually a case of a lazy day at a friend's place after a big night out, just hanging out and watching movies. Someone suggested Kill Bill, I mentioned I'd never seen either movie which led to "Really? You've got to see it, that's it we're watching it" and ultimately I liked it well enough.

I find Kill Bill Vol. 2 a bit of a downside though.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine, I found it pretty entertaining. And I had no idea that Weapon XI was Deadpool, it only clicked to me at the end after I finished watching it haha.

He's not...at least not in the comics I read. They blended a few stories to give Reynolds a bigger part i think

Yeah well I was thinking about it, and he had kind of those.. Deadpool features. I checked up on google and it said that it was Deadpool, but then again, don't all the movies have a sort of major difference from the comics?

Until X-Men Last Stand they were staying relatively faithful to at least some story lines (even though the timelines got a little screwy etc.). They completely got "Deadpool" wrong. Wade Wilson they got right (Was a great job by Reynolds and the writers before they soup him up), but none of that ever happened in the comics with 'Pool. Its actually the one thing i didnt like about the Wolvie movie, It would've been relatively easy to get right but they wanted more special effects I guess. (Deadpool has never had cyclops optic blast power...ever...) It was really well done otherwise as far as staying true to source and characters though. This is what i get for being too into certain characters lol.

Weapon XI wasn't even played by Reynolds, it was some martial artist dude.
They really screwed up making Deadpool that 'thing'

Reynolds is offered the lead roles of Green Lantern and Deadpool. He can choose only one and lose the other.

Where did you hear he could only do one? As far as I knew he was doing Green Lantern first and they were developing Deadpool to make sure it was done correctly.

Also since Reynolds character "becomes" weapon xi even though he's not playing them they could say "reynolds character has <lots more than truth> screentime! Come see it!!!

Yeah I read that he was, they used the martial artist for the stunts, but they used Reynolds for alot of the close ups. So Weapon XI was played by both Reynolds and Martial Artist Dude haha.

Prepare for the climatic final movie where almost everyone dies for no apparent reason.

Theres an origins: magneto movie coming out but i think that's it: Last Stand was a clusterfuck to get made so i think they're done with "X-Men" as a standalone series
