Games you're currently looking forward to

Postby Andrew on Wed Jul 07, 2010 9:33 pm

What are the games you'll be looking to pick up in the next few months?

For me it's NBA Elite 11, NBA 2K11, Smackdown vs RAW 2011 and Fallout: New Vegas.

That rumored Smackdown game for the PC is one of the games I'm looking forward too. That, including Mafia 2, and NBA 2K11, since NBA "Elite" 11 doesn't seem to have the guts to make a release on the PC.

New Vegas, too.

While compiling my list of games I've finished for another thread, I remembered they've released a remake of Monkey Island 2. I might have to pick that up, along with the remake of the original, on Steam.

Im hoping the Deadliest Warrior game coming out next week isn't complete shit so I can enjoy some busido blade esk damage in a fighting game.

Other than that it's Rock Band 3, Halo Reach and the basketball games.
Opinions are my own.

If I have a PS3, then all of the exclusives like God of War 3, Uncharted 1 and 2, Little Big Planet.

Since we have a Wii, NBA Jam comes to mind

NBA 2K10  , including a RAM that it's 2 GB... my computer needs 2 GB RAM... at 2K9 I changed my graphic card to NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT, because of NBA 2K9 :cussing:

Pretty much just NBA 2K11, NBA Elite 11, Star Wars: The Old Republic, and Donkey Kong Country Returns (though it doesn't look nearly as good as the originals).

NBA Elite 11, NBA 2K11, FIFA 11, Toy Story 3. Maybe 2K10 if I'm impatient enough to try My Player Mode.

Rumours are heating up of an Xbox 360/Playstation 3 release for NBA Jam, so add that to my list...hopefully. :)

Are you picking up FIFA 11 for the PC or Xbox 360? Apparently they're bringing the next gen (well, current gen but they referred to it as next gen) engine to the PC version.

I can now only afford about one new game per year so it'll be a toss up between 2k11 & Elite. Like every year, I'll probably end up with 2k11.

Jae, is FIFA 11 supposed to be much better than FIFA 10? I got FIFA 10, very good game, so would take a bit of an upgrade for me to shelve my current Southampton Manager Mode, especially after adding Stephen Hunt, Poli, Dario Vidosic & a few others.

I haven't read anything about it to be honest, I just religiously get each new release as it comes out. I'll have to do some research. I wasn't as keen on FIFA 10 as I was on FIFA 09

I didn't play '09. Last FIFA I played was '08 & I didn't like it, so '10 felt like a bit of a jump for me.
