Re: My sports journalism blog • Rip City :: Uprise!

Agent Zero? Decent acquisition (and realistic trade package for him), but I'm not sure he's the best fit (culturally definitely not, but its a videogame. His lack of D and ball dominance makes him a bad fit with B-Roy). Really glad you kept my guy Batum.

Stacked roster you got there. Hate the acquisition of Randy Foye, but that's only because you're loaded at the guard positions, and he's turrible. Looking forward to the season. Giving this one the benefit of the doubt since Portland's my team. Don't let me down Albano. ;)

Thanks a lot man. Gilbert's one of my favorite players and I really like his duo with Brandon, but as you said it'd be a mess on real life. I remember I put Batum on the trading block in the last Blazers thread, but I really like him now. Foye's another of my favorites, from his days in Minnesota. As I said thousands of times, don't want to jinx myself but hopefully I can go long term here.

First game, coming later.

The next day:
"Oh man guys. I really DO have Thierry-itis. Looking over my templates, I've really over-committed myself to this. I asked my professor, and he said he didn't care if I switched to the Sixers. Thread coming soon, Sorry guys, you have my word. This REALLY IS my last."

One week later:
"I have given up on becoming a sports journalist. This DOES NOT mean this will end necessarily. However, I will be starting a Hawks association tomorrow, but I can do both. This one CAN'T fail, because I no longer have that sports journalism teacher nagging me"

Buzzy's presentation was a lot better than this, sorry...

I'm actually enjoying this blog layout :D

Easy win but poor field goal percentage, need to work on that. Will change Arenas shoes then.
I know buzzy's was better than this one, but it was too much work.

5 years? Seriously, are you kidding? I'll be the happiest dude in the planet if I complete two seasons.

held HOU to only 11 pts in the opening qtr of each half... that's some serious D (Y)

Speechless... JK. Nice win against the Rockets. (Y) Holding them to 11 points in the 1st quarter is some kick-ass defense, as Clutch already said. If your team can play D like that through the whole season, you're on your way to having a great season.

I'm actually a fan of the blog layout. (Y) Roy and Arenas didn't score nearly as well as I thought they would've, but all that matters is that you got the win.

Actually I was very serious on D on every Rocket, except Yao. He was killing me. I really hate him

Thanks man. Hopefully we can maintain this defense the whole year.

Thanks bro. :D Yeah, at first I wanted all five starters and at least one sub to score in double figures, but with LMA going 5/17, Oden going 1/8, it was impossible.

Didn't have Armon Johnson in my roster, so I created him in My Player and played until the Training Camp, where I get all the practice pictures

Nice looking start (sorry, i had to do that) to this one you've made here Thierry. Although i hate the fact that you've started it with yet more moves to stack up your roster, it all looks real nice and hopefully you can keep this one going

Lamrock you've made my day

Looking good dude, one request though, boxscores in the recaps or something. Sometimes I dont have time to read the whole thing but would still like to see how the players performed.

Thanks man, also thanks a lot for the suggestion (Y) Will keep it in mind for next game.

Well, the blog project died in the English class, but I'll still use the blog for the future here.
