Looks the same as normal, slightly enhanced maybe. Basically what I expect from 2K on this front and why the screens haven't interested me for years.

Which is what I think most people think of these NBA games anymore. We want to see footage not screens, yet both teams seem to be trying to avoid showing more and more. Hence why they're not even showing openly at E3. When 2K got their reputation by dominating everyone at E3 back in 1999 and proving NFL 2K was legit.

As long as it's $20 and the only PC game though...

Which makes me sad when I think about the 2000 games.

Those screenshots really look the same as 2k10 but i did notice some enhances in the muscles and the textures btw they did not enhance the faces and the player models which really made me turned off..i hope they could somewhat enhance it ..

Which looks mostly the same as 2K9. Which looked mostly the same as 2K8. As I noted, they basically tweak it slightly ever year.

As to the face point, I'm someone who thinks 2K's faces have been the best for a while. They always look awkward in screens (but never as much so as that Derrick Rose shot last year from Live) but in game they're pretty good.

It should be noted that after I stopped patching I also stopped being obsessed with minor details of NBA players faces and heads in video games. We've come a long way from their preseason photoshoot pasted on to a head-shaped oval.

I'd rather 2K made more diverse looking everything for create-player than doing anything with the NBA player models honestly. Especially if My Player gets expanded closer to perfection. I can't handle the replays when everyone looks the same and when I have to do "randomize" fifty times to get someone who looks significantly different.

yeah why? cause here is the deal you dam well all these modders are gonna make them look better, and what i am thinking is what if the reditor and iff editor all still work, and what if last years patches
work with this one, that would save so much time, there would be no waiting for new editors all i care about is how yes the skin tone looks, courts, arenas, halftime show, shoes gear
crossovers, dunks, layups (just a ton more sigs) but i really don't want to have to start all over i would like to carry over rosters that were made for this years

In my opinion the more interesting thing on these screens is the crowd. Especially on the Kobe screen the crowd looks way improved from last year.

The lakers jersey sill looks very dull and they need to makee it vibrant by release date.
Very very sharp details though.

The preview was short and "hands-off" and they don't mean it used Kinect.

At the very least they could've improved the accessories. One can always argue that gameplay would trump that in every way in which I would agree... but presentation should still be tantamount. They need to allow players to have rubberwristbands along with the sleeves, multicloured double rubberwristbands, socks along with the short calf sleeves, those small elbow pads and two toned calf sleeves MJ used to rock, ability to set headband colours for players, ability to set the default home and away 1&2 colours for accessories, and I can go on. But those are definitely key aesthetics I would like addressed. Since bodytweaks can't be adjusted on consoles, they need to have more variation in that too.

As for gameplay, I sincerely hope they've improved the signature shots this year. Too many players had the same jumpshots in 2k10. (i.e. Iguodala, Pierce, Kirilenko, Carter, Billups, Okafor)

Yes, that was a framegrab from a very quick snippet during Sony's E3 presentation. I had heard that it was actually 2K10 footage but in any case, we did post this video here and on the main page so it wasn't missed. The three screens from IGN are still the first screenshots officially released by 2K.

For me as long as theres a lot of animation to be added in 2k11 i will definitely buy this game same as last year. I dont mind the cf coz we have lots of great patchers here.. hooray 2k11!!!
