I've been playing NBA games, like.. Forever. And i'm not asking this because I lack of knowledge about the game, it's just that it happens to be my report on how do they develop such games.
My question is, how do they import the moves the voices the reactions and the likes? I've seen some clips showing players wearing those body tights with those little motion bulbs that imports their moves to the computer or something. What is it called?
Every concise answers are highly appreciated. Thank you!

Motion Capture. That makes animators and moders' job whole lot easier. I don't really know much about EA or 2K so can't really comment, but from what I've seen, actors/athletes come to the studio and gets paid tons of money for just showing off some moves or giving voices for recording. Last time I remember hearing from my friend, some guy from hollywood got paid 20k just for a few hours of work at the Radicals. I guess that's why they prefer making their own game like Prototype over Spiderman or the Hulk since those games you have to pay royalty to shit load of people/company.
Anyways, from what I've heard, the sports games are basing on motion captures.

Motion capture is the technology you need to look into for your report. In addition to bringing in NBA players to capture their moves, EA Sports also brings in other basketball players to mimic players' moves and shooting forms. I'm guessing 2K probably does the same thing.
At an NBA Live community event a few years back, we were told that when Marv Albert and Steve Kerr were brought in to record commentary they were shown various clips from NBA games that represented situations and moves they wanted to replicate in the game, to try and make the lines sound a bit more natural and allow for a bit of back and forth and playing off one another. Again, I wouldn't be surprised if 2K have employed similar techniques when they're recording commentary. There'd also be a director overseeing the process and giving notes as necessary, much like any other voice over recording.
