That was amazing, it's like a grown man beating up on teenagers...oh wait...

Ah, I forgot he didn't really beat them up, they beat themselves or something like that.

I know what you mean. Seen that scene, the usual Jackie Chan shenanigans.
It's still no different than me grabbing a kid's arm and using his fist to punch himself with it while saying 'stop hitting yourself, stop hitting yourself..."

That kind of scene looks more badass against grownup thugs and not teenage bullies.

Toy Story 3 was a very cute flick. It was the 1st time I watched a movie in 3D, it was pretty cool, although I was expecting something a little more extreme.

most 3d movies i've seen have about 1 or 2 scenes that are really made to be 3d oriented (something comes at the audience or whatever). The best 3d i've ever seen was Nightmare before Christmas re-release. That world was already so beautiful and deep, the 3d made you feel like you were surrounded by it.

Just watched Hedwig and the Angry Inch...cant decide if i liked it

'Hot-Tub Time Machine' and 'Killers'. Liked both of 'em. 'A-Team Movie' is next.

Toy Story 3. It was good, but nothing more than I expected. If you grew up watching the first two movies though, you will cry or will want to cry at the end of this one. Trust me, I'm not a very emotional person and can't recall ever shedding a tear during a movie until now. I guess that it all really depends on if you grew up with the movies or not.

Really liked Fantastic Mr. Fox. It's one of those indie animation flicks that were completely overlooked in my opinion, but the dialogs and voices are brilliant, and it has that typical Wes Anderson touch (that not everybody enjoys, but I do).

Watched Brazil.

Can Terry Gilliam give me a happy ending just one time?

I liked the sense humor and visuals, but the story was depressing as fuck.

Also watched Lolita.

Why is that shit classic? Chris Hanson should be called on that fucker.

I watched recently for the 1st time too. I liked it, typical Gilliam trip.
I don't know if you read George Orwell's 1984, but I'm pretty sure it must have been a source of inspiration for this movie, both felt strangely connected for me.

Loved 1984, but the depressing ending was poignant and terrifying yet fitting at the same time.

this time

WHY THE FUCK WAS HE IN A COMA? PTSD? ABUSE? SELF PRESERVATION?

There's leaving it to interpretation and then there's just being ambiguous for the hell of it. Gilliam left no clues and I almost threw something at my television.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail had an amusing ending. That might be the closest you're going to get.

Inglorious Basterds. (Y)

More than makes up for the shitfest that, outside of the fake commercials/trailers, was Grindhouse.

True that. They should have had him win, and then made a sequel where he went after the president.

Seen Sherlock Holmes, awesome flick. Like how Downey Jr. portray Sherlock and being so genius and all, got me into it and never really come to my mind that the villain is not really using magic. Can't wait for a sequel.

Last movie I saw was Toy Story 3 at the cinemas with my girlfriend, both of us being 17 it was so awesome seeing it again with new characters, a great storyline, and a good movie compared to Toy Story 1 and 2 which we both loved haha.
