Charlotte Bobcats

With all due respects to all the great patchers and roster creators here, i'd like to create the Charlotte Bobcats all by myself.

Can anyone please give me some tips on how to go about it using DB Commander?

For those who're interested, i'm posting the steps on how to put the Charlotte Bobcats into NBA Live 2000. If anybody wants to revise or add anything, please feel free to do so.

1. Create a team using the NBA Live 2000 in-game feature. give it the Charlotte Bobcats name, choose the logo and jersey from the available list, then pick players from the Free Agent pool. Don't forget to save the file.

2. Using a DBF editor like DBCommander, open the save file you just made. Change the TEAMCODE to 0 (regular NBA team) for the new Charlotte team. Also, match the LOCATIONID with that of the existing Hornets team.

3. Start Live 2K. Load the saved file. Go into Season Mode and place them in the Central Division, Eastern conference. Remember to place New Orleans to the Midwest Division.

4. If you're temporarily happy with their custom team jerseys (only one type for both away and home games), then you're finished at this point. Enjoy playing the season with the Bobcats included!

5. If you have new art for the Bobcats, give it a unique art name abbreviation. Make sure this abbreviation is reflected in the appropriate DBF files.

nice tip! however, when i tried the link, bb14's site is blocked by a local area firewall. Can i possibly go around it to access the site? help please....

bb14, i'm actually trying to access your site from Saudi Arabia where i'm currently staying. when i try the link to your site what i get is "Access to the requested URL is not allowed!".

honestly, i think there's no chance for me to get to your site coz they're strict with Net sites here.....(could it be you have some files with "suggestive" words like "sex" or "nude" in there that's why you're blocked over here...?) ......oh well, just have to content myself with what i got...thanks anyway......

there is no "nude" or "sex" words in my site, just basketball, hockey and soccer (football) themes !!!
It's possible that Saudi Arabia makes a wall...
try to get access there.
