Michael Jordan to grace NBA 2K11 cover?

Guess I'm not too far off...

2K must've realized that based on the number of downloads for Jordan CAPS in 2K Share.

Why did they use 2K10 footage? Stupid.

Perhaps 2K hasn't fully finished the new code for 2k11 and had no choice but do the ad with 2K10 footage...

it was already confirmed awhile ago didn't anybody catch the hint in hall of fame speech? i guess not

ESPN.com's Jon Robinson is reporting that former NBA great and current Charlotte Bobcats owner (and my favourite all-time player) may be gracing the cover of NBA 2K11. This would mark the first time that a retired player has appeared on the cover of NBA 2K. Robinson also reports that Jordan himself may appear in the game along with former teammates and opponents, offering the opportunity to faithfully recreate the rivalries from the "Jordan Era".

So...if this is true, I guess I'm definitely (and eagerly) picking up both games this year.
