Need Help Tweaking My Coach Profile

Sat Jun 05, 2010 11:20 am

Hey there...I need help. I used to bring JR Smith off the bench, but for the past few games, my opponents have been blowing me out during 1st quarters, my team does come back in the end, but it's not enough....so I decided to finally start JR Smith to avoid a slow start.

My rotation is:

PG: Tyreke Evans [38]
SG: JR Smith [30]
SF: Shane Battier [34]
PF: Michael Beasley [34]
C: Roy Hibbert [36]
------------------------
6. Goran Dragic [22]
7. Francisco Garcia [22]
8. Rasheed Wallace [17]
9. Quentin Richardson [5]
10. Jerry Stackhouse [F]
11. TJ Ford [F]
12. Peja Stojakovic [F]

Can you please help me tweak my profile? Thanks!

Playbook - Los Angeles Lakers
Offensive Tempo - 72
Defensive Pressure - 77
Help Defense - 69
Fast Break - 82
Crash Boards - 65
Run Plays - 40
Double Teams - 58
Zone Usage - 8
Bench Depth - 58
Take Inside Shots - 70
Take Close Shots - 54
Take Mid-Range Shots -51
Take 3PT Shots - 48
Attack the Basket - 74
Look for Post Players - 80

I would appreciate any feedback, I hope yall could help me! :)

Your Close Shots are too a bit high considering your capable post players are Beasley and Sheed, and they are not even that effective in that area. Outside of your bigs, only Tyreke and Battier may be effective in Close.

Increase your Mid-Range Shots seeing as most of your players can shoot the mid jumper, even Beasley and Sheed.

Attack Basket is too high, only Tyreke is very effective at that in your roster and to a very lesser extent, Dragic and Garcia.

Look for Post Players is also too high, reason same as Close Shots.

Crash Boards a bit high in relation to your Fast Break.

Thanks alot shadow! :)

Just curious, do you think I should stick w/ the triangle offense? (Im worried that Tyreke wont do much playing the 1 and wont have beastly stats since I dont want to trade Smitty - who will play SG majority of the game instead of Reke)

Or should I try out the Hornets' playbook?

I think Reke portraying CP3,
JR Smith = Any of Nawlins' shooter @ SG
Battier = Posey
Beasley = West
Hibbert = Okafor

Seems to be fairly identical. What do you think will work out better?

Thanks!

Ditch the triangle plays for Tyreke. It isn't really PG friendly. Hornets, not bad but if you want you could also try the Suns and the Spurs playbook.
