How to play playoffs against a 2nd player offline

Sat Jun 05, 2010 7:59 am

Hi everybody,

I hope my english is not too bad and you understand my question:

I am trying to play the playoffs with a friend offline (local with two pads in front of one tv). We both choose a different team. When I select a matchup between my team and another team (not the one my friend had chosen), I want to play my side and i want my friend to play the opponents. Sadly this doesn´t work. The only option is to play together in one team but that´s not what we want.

Isn´t there a possibility to play like that???

Thanks for yor help,

greetz

I was under the impression you could select opposing sides in all situations but you may be restricted to user controlled teams. You might have to designate each team as user controlled and just sim the games you don't want to play.

Yes, i also came up with your idea, but than I had the problem, that when I simulate for example one game in the first round, then suddenly other first round games were also simulated. ... but this would be really stupid, so it might be that I did something wrong.... I`ll try again later I think.

But thanks for your reply so far :)

Make sure you've highlighted the current game when you pick the simulate option; that might be the problem.
