The ability to draw more fouls and get to the line more often is thanks to having the ball in his hands in the post more often. I think Bynum not playing in the same frontcourt as Pau has an effect on this. When the two players play together, Bynum's play suffers because he doesn't have the ball as much. Pau's numbers don't drop as much but they do because he has to share the rock with Bynum.
However, you put up a very convincing argument.
But I still prefer Bynum and his dodgy knees over Bosh. Bynum's physical presence and ability to shore up the defence. I'm just not convinced that Bosh would be a better fit.

Say that Fisher wins ring number 5, should it be retired? On any other team, maybe he would be able to. He's been a sarting PG on all championship sides. It was argued that Horry's number didn't get retired but Horry won 3 rings with LA, not all 7 of his. The also bring up Byron Scott. And he won 3 rings with the Lakers. Fisher still could have 2 more rings.
So if Fisher wins a 5th ring this postseason, do you think he is worthy of having his number retired?

"That's how cool Phil is," Kerr says. "Dennis had sort of been away from us, in a spiritual sense, and Phil felt that we needed to bring him back in, which in Dennis's case means going out and getting hammered. Not only did Phil encourage me and Jud to go, he was telling [second-year forward] Jason Caffey, 'You ought to go on the bus. It will be a good experience.' How many NBA coaches would tell one of their young players to go out and get s—-faced with Dennis Rodman?" Caffey, however, thought better of the idea and skipped the trip to Atlantic City.

I'm fairly sure that's why.
