Need some help guys (HoF)

So I figure it's time to make a Association/My Player Stories hall of fame forum. What I need first is for people to nominate stories to include, going back to when the forum was first created. We'll have a vote and go from there. Just post links, the title of the story and maybe a reason why you think it should be inducted.

Only 2k story I've read (I usually wait until stuff hits the HoF to read it) and quite enjoyable

PayPal says it should be clear within 48 hours.

Obviously first inductee would be Sit's Legend Is Born II (viewtopic.php?f=92&t=60729). That's only definite candidate out there. Probably don't need too many more reasons as it speaks for itself.

I'd have to say thanks but no thanks. If mine gets inducted it sets a low standard for future inductees. So please don't add mine, it's not something I'm that proud of. I didn't even get to first off-season (thank 2k for patch & me losing motivation because of such).

I wouldn't argue with the other three though.

Hova's Cats were great. Sure it was stopped by 2K's patch, but the story itself was superb.

Actually I really have to say that the Cats were quite cool. I had a lot of fun and put some effort into it. But a ninepager which was stopped by a major 2k glitch ... I don't know ... does not sound pretty HOF-ish for me. I hope I can bounce back with 2k11

agreed to an extent, i still preferred Sit's ALIB II, but that's only due to my own personal appreciation of creative writing It's up there for sure

Fair enough, I appreciate good writing & Sit's work is very good, I'm just not personally a fan of chapter-like story Associations.

So basically we've had four recommended here (X's Bucks, hova's Cats, Matt's Lakers and my Claws) are there any more you guys can think of? I wanted to vote and induct 4 of them but we've only got 4 recommended so that would sort of defeat the purpose a bit especially since X doesn't want his considered. If there's no more I guess we'll just induct them all and make them the first class. I imagine by this time next year we'll have a whole bunch of new ones to induct anyway.

To make life easier for me, give a link to the story you're recommending and also a reason/explanation for why. People can also discuss their thoughts on whether a particular story deserves to be inducted or not.

Matthew's 2K6 Lakers Association

Reason: Enjoyed reading it and it's the most viewed (14700) 2K association story and lasted the longest (5 pages) pre-2K9. It might not look pretty now since the links to the pics are down, but when it was still active the pictures looked good despite from a TV being taken by a camera.

Yeah the whole forum's locked for now. Will unlock it when I induct the next lot of stories.
