Best mods/patches.

Hey, I have just bought NBA Live 2003 (for $1 NZ ) and was wondering which the best patches are? I'm looking for recent rosters (including OKC), jerseys, courts, etc.

Agreed. TRU09 is easily the best patch I've ever used, and there are lots of individual patches that can change the appearance of the game. Kapei22 and many others have many good patches and I'm also starting to patch a little bit and I hope to do some more in the future. If you use TRU09, keep the installer, because you will need it again if you want to re-install the game.

I just used the renfe and render folders and put them in, will this do the same thing? And also, I'm used the most recent rosters, will this change anything?

I don't know whether or not that would work, seeing as I just downloaded the full original version of TRU09 and it works pretty well. I think it would work, but I am not completely sure. I don't know all the folders that the full TRU09 changes, because it uses an installer. I know it adds different music, but that's really easy to change. I think there is a tutorial on how to change the music in the Tutorial section of this site.
The only problem with TRU09 is that I've had a few problems with it. Sometimes a jersey/court might fail and crash the game, but that's easy to fix: like I said in a previous post today, there are plenty of patches out there (even outside this site, there are a few) that will help you immensely.
BTW: How much is a NZ dollar compared to $US?

Yeah, I bought it during the NBA Finals in 2003. I lost the CD within a month and I found it last spring while going through some of my old music.
I became interested in basketball again!

i think sum 08 is the bust it worked 4 me at the time now i got 04 yey!

I haven't tried SUM 08, because of stuff I heard about the combination of that and TRU09. If a SUM 10 OR TRU 10 comes out this fall, I will be a happy man.

Next NBA project is SUM 10 as I think.

Is SUM just like TRU? If so...

No. TRU means only recent updates. But SUM means not only jersey, court, logo and roster. There are sensational patches like dornas, ball, xfebg.viv edit, splash edit, everything you can expect.
