Micheal Jordan in NBA Live 98

Is there any way to get Micheal Jordan on the Bulls roster in NBA Live 98, because I read that you can on NBA 96 by moving "Player" off the bench and replacing someone in the starting 5 or something like that.

No, Michael Jordan was represented by a "Roster Player" in NBA Live 98. There were plenty of patches for the PC version (some are still available in our Downloads section) but apart from releasing the Roster Player and creating a player called Michael Jordan, there's nothing you can do for the console versions.

I still have my PSX NBA Live 98. EA provided a pamphlet with the game on how to create your own Jordan, personal info, ratings and everything:

First - Michael
Last - Jordan

Team - Chicago
Bench Pos - Starting SG
Natural Pos - Shooting Guard
Hand - Right
Jersey # - 23
Height - 6'6"
Weight - 216
College - North Carolina
Years Pro - 12
DOB - 2/17/63

Head style - 10
Hair style - 1
Facial Hair - 6
Features - 1

Endurance - 96
Shooting Range - 25ft.
Clutch - 5

Inside Scoring - 90
Jump Shooting - 95
3 Pointers - 86
Free Throws - 85
Dunking - 95

Stealing - 79
Blocking - 61
Def. Awareness - 97
Quickness - 88

Off. Rebounds - 67
Def. Rebounds - 75
Jumping - 97
Strength - 88

Passing - 87
Off. Awareness - 98
Speed - 91
Dribbling - 90

Overall Totals in each Category Should Read Like This:
Shooting - 90
Defense - 81

Overall - 86

Just to set the record straight, Wilt was the GOAT.

I think our generations will forever have to agree to disagree on that one. :)

Wow, back in the days when EA was still helpful to the gamers despite licensing restrictions.

I hope the Clutch rating isn't based on a scale of 100. lol

Only an overall of 86? Blasphemy!

In NBA Live 96 on SNES, all you have to do is go to Edit Player, select the guy on the Bulls, put in JORDAN, and it'll automatically put his info in.

Indeed. You could do the same for Barkley and a bunch of rookies from the class of 1995, as well as a few legends.

Magic, Wilt, Bird. I remember when I discovered this (by making Jordan) I was in heaven. I alwasy wished there were more games that did this.

Me too, but it won't happen. The threat of lawsuits like the one Jim Brown filed against EA Sports will ensure that no former player is included in the game in any form and resembling the real person in any way, unless the developer has secured the likeness rights.
