Since some of the greatest NLSC members in history were Greek, there's this awesome Greek steak house (om nom nom nom) in East Lansing we used to go to all the time, and Greek Town in Detroit is maybe the best part of Detroit, let's talk bout the Greece crisis.
Oh, there's also the fact that the rest of Europe along with the United States gets to go through this in the next decade which should be exciting.
If you're unaware, here's the facts:
Short Version:
Socialism doesn't work, especially if you don't make the majority of your country pay taxes.
Long Version:
Basically Greece has spent the last few decades spending more money they don't have. Then the "stimulated" financial house of cards collapsed and it all went to hell, now they're begging the rest of the world (who is in the same situation) to bail them out. And at some point it will all implode upon itself.
We tried it in Greece and it failed. Next comes Spain, Portugal, and California. Good times!
Thankfully we'll keep trying collectivism and people in this very thread may advocate it despite its abject failure!
