how do you make it so that players wear their own jerseys in the all star game instead of wearing the given ones?

thanks

You have to use CustomArt.

1. Extract a player's home and away jerseys from xteam.viv
2. Extract the number files for both jerseys (eg clhome_num.fsh)
3. Place all of the files in the player's CustomArt folder (eg render/xplayer/lejames)
4. Make sure CustomArt is enabled. Start the game.

just extract their respective jerseys from the xteam.viv then rename them to home.fsh, home_num.fsh etc..

ex. Tracy McGrady

1. Extract the oraway.fsh and oraway_num.fsh from the xteam.viv
2. Make a folder named trmcgra at the xplayer folder
3. Put the extracted .fsh in the trmcgra folder
4. rename them from oraway.fsh to away.fsh (just erase the team code)
5. And so on and so forth...

thas all...

what about that thing in the dbf, the origteam column, just like in nba live 2003. How would you do it that way?

You can't. NBA Live 2004 uses All-Star jerseys as opposed to regular NBA jerseys. The ORIGTEAM value will determine the jerseys the players wear when viewing their 3D portraits. If you want them to wear their individual jerseys on the court, you will need to use the method described above.
