i have high hopes for this movie and not so high hopes for the captain america one. cant wait til they bring it all together in the avengers though

I have a feeling this will blow chunks. Although I might be biased because I've never been a fan of Thor or superheroes that have an overabundant amount of super strength or abilities (Superman, Hulk, most DC heroes, etc.)

Who do you like then? I kinda dig thor since he has to inhabit a mortal (at least back in the day) and can actually die. And DC heroes or OP? i tend to think that of Marvel moreso since they wont even have apparent weaknesses. Families dont count as a weakness: everyones got a family. Well except Batman aside from Alfred/Robins 1-3/Oracle.

However, i do agree: this movie is probably gonna blow. I like Thor but i dont see how he translates well to the big screen. Part of the fun is the integration of the marvel verse and the Norse mythology, not just one or the other.

It will blow if Thor spends half of the film 'depowered'. I want to see him bashing bad guys with Mjolnir and crapping lightning.

I didn't really mean that they don't have any weaknesses, but I just find boring to have characters that have the potential to blow up the earth facing off against other villains that could also potentially blow up the earth. I find characters like Dare Devil, Moon Knight,Captain America and maybe even Matt Fraction's Iron Man to have a lot more variety in their stories and in a way creates slightly more empathy from me towards those characters.
