I heard that laughter "can" lower blood sugar in a lot of people, i use to have to check my blood sugar levels every day when i was a lot bigger. I use to check my sugar after i ate, then i would laugh several times, and my blood sugar got lower, i remember one time after eating, my sugar was 120, and i laughed a few times and laughter lowered it to 87. I was amazed once again, so i found out that laughter really does lower my blood sugar, unfortunately it doesn't lower everyone's blood sugar, because a couple of people who were diabetic told me that it didn't lower theirs, but one diabetic told me that it lowered his.
He also told me that your sugar, your ac1 i think that's what you call it has to be either under 9 or under 7, i forgot which one he said. But my question is to you all, have you ever tried to use laughter to lower your blood sugar? I know what works for one person doesn't mean that it'll work for another, in fact it may fail misrably for another person. There was a Japhanese study that they had where, they took a group of people, diabetics and non diabetics ate a meal, one group of people went to a boring lecture and another group went to a Japhanese comedy club, the blood sugar levels they say for the group that went to the comedy club were lower.
Unfortunately, laughter doesn't lower everyone's blood sugar, hm i wonder why?

Did your blood sugar go lower by doing so?

I don't know about blood sugar, but I'm sure my blood pressure went up a notch trying to decipher the opening post.

I wouldn't trust anything that came from Japhan.

I've used laughter for many things - reducing stress after a long day, making new friends, winning the Australian Grand Prix on foot and staging violent political coups - but never lowering my blood sugar.

I laugh for no apparent reason. Does that make me crazy?

Depends. Would you say it's a maniacal laugh or a jolly chuckle?

I like to change gears and mix it up. Sometimes it involves a little crying.

Don't worry, that's perfectly normal.
