no difference, common format, can use on both 03 and 04

They use the same format, but i think i read that parts of the 2003 shoes (top and back?) will not allign perfectly; the base is slightly off.

I think this can only be seen up close?

but i noticed that the fshes for 04 are generally darker than those used in 03

does that mean 04 adjusts the brightness of it's textures automatically? because they look fine and bright from the screenshots

I think so; because everything gets brighter in-game............... almost too bright. I find that i am always making the Bhed's for the faces way darker than i want them to be, just so they look like the real skintone in the game.

Okay, guys.
As the topic states, I will retire from shoe patching.
I really spend too much time in front of my pc, hunted the www for clear and useful pics of the latest or unreleased shoes, burned my eyes staring at the tft, puzzling all the parts of the shoe together and neglected my beloved family and so on ...
Some of you hardcore patchers will know my feelings.
My buddy Sykal left the Shoestore months ago due to a new job and so I had to keep the slack up all by myself.
I've done my best until I realized last weekend how much time I wasted for this "useless" stuff.
I always appreciated your comments and I will stay in contact with my longtime pals.
Take care and enjoy the latest and last shoe patch in the Adidas Team and Player Section.

It saddens me to know that the best NBA Live shoe patcher ever is retiring from this game … You and Sykal were the ones who set the high quality standards of shoe patching (I’ve been admiring your works since you started from Live 2000 and up to now) But look on the bright side … Our priority in Life is our family! I understand how you feel because I myself is also a shoe patcher and a family man (you’re one of the patchers in NBA Live who motivated me to become a patcher of this game)… Steve, you made the right choice in your decision. Our family comes first before this computer game. (Although I only make patches on my spare time, but sometimes we are trapped by this black hole of patching.) Your works will always be a legacy of greatness! I salute you Steve, the best shoe patcher ever! Thanks for everything you’ve contributed to NBA Live and God bless you and your family!
