Strange Trade offers in Association mode

Postby heat23q on Sun Apr 04, 2010 9:41 am

Hey all,im in my 2nd season in association with Miami Heat,i managed to get the bulls 1st round pick for the upcoming draft and picked up John wall in the process to run the Point,so i traded John wall and my first round pick of the 2011 season for Derrick rose start of the upcoming season, currently sitting on 8 wins 2 losses in my 2nd year,i have wade resigned for 6 years.

Heres where the strange thing comes,i had francisco garcia on the trading block since start of the year, and 10 games in i get offered Lebron James + his 6 yr Contract and clevelands 1st round pick for garcias 3 year contract   anyone else had a strange offer like that presented to them,i thought it would be some kind of a bug in the game :? Then again cleveland are coming last atm in my 2nd year but i still cant see a reason to why they would make such a strange offer, could it be the 6 yr contract :?

lol thats really interesting,i would of thought 2k would have worked on these sort of easy trades being done in Association, nevermind i wasn't going to refuse the fact of having someone like lebron joining wade and rose,i now have the awsome 3 (Y) although bit skeptic about rose resigning...as his contract has 1 yr left then the 1 yr team deal,i dont think im entitled to the bird rights as he hasnt been with the team for more then 3 yrs if thats how it works :?

Jameer Nelson + 1st Round pick for Luke Ridnour. Not compared to Lebron for Garcia, but still.

i was reading an article by sam smith saying that lebron would be headed to the lakers and so i wanted to give that a go. i have started the association and plan on posting it up on the boards, well im having exams in the next few months but once that is done, im posting something up. i just hope people will not criticize me for playing unrealistically. trust me, i have adjustied sliders to make it a fair game and im not blowing out other teams.

any way, i traded artest + odom + morrison + a 1st round pick for lebron+ anthony parker + telfair. surprisingly, cleveland accepted the trade. then i traded bynum and farmar (fisher was injured and he was my starting point guard, putting big numbers) in a three team traded, ended up getting two first round picks as well as tony battie and chris wilcox. including the luke walton trade, i had 3 first round picks that ended up to be top 10 picks. i had the 1st, the 5th and the 9th pick. drafted john wall, demarcus cousins and hassan whiteside.

my team didn't advance past the jazz in the western conference finals and i was kinda struggling to have a scoring balance between kobe and lebron. i don't have access to 2k10 cause im trying to focus on my studies but i remember kobe and lebron both averaging around 20 points. lebron had something like 6 assists and 8 rebounds per game while kobe had something like 3 assists and 5 rebounds.

You'd be a fool to take it with Varejao's contract.

Yep, I'd be. Too big of a contract. (N) I would trade him for Powe, though.
