I did that
but still lost many of my peeps. Oh well...
Finally got finish the game, spectacular stuff, even though the ending was a little bit more rushed than expected.
Can't wait to play #3, I'll keep my saved game files this time around...I ended up level 26 I think, with around 47 hours of total playtime. I banged the crazy psycho, but I wonder what would have happened with Tali, does she keep her suit and mask on?
For now, I'll still do a second playthrough, I'll be a chick and a real bitch to everyone this time.

It was said that Tali would have her mask off but her face would not be seen because she's facing away from the player.
Mine was level 27.

That's what I'm doing. I restarted ME1 a couple of days ago with this nice, all charm character
and then I'm going badass Renegade with a second save. Of course I will go with both to ME2.

Major letdown to hear that you could actually sleep with NPCs in this game as I missed up on them. I think it was something I said that turned them off...

The first
priced DLC is coming on April 6th, with a new female character and mission. Also, I believe that Bioware is releasing a free DLC tomorrow with the new drivable vehicle they mentioned months ago.

Lol... I just formatted my hard drive. Shouda have made a back up of saved files.

Finally finished the first one. Going to pick up the new one through steam right now.

Ah, this is the vehicle the developers talked said to replace the bouncy Mako.
EDIT:

At least Garrus' armor is fixed.

You shouldn't be disappointed, if you liked the first one at least. #2 does everything better gameplay-wise, but obviously some of the initial awe is gone and the story is not quite as revolutionary.

I just hope they fixed the sound in 5.1 mode. Holy crap that just got worse and worse as I went through the first one.

Really? I don't remember having any issue with my 5.1 sound on that game. Either way, it seems to work well with Mass Effect 2.

There were a lot of bugs for people, and for others it worked flawlessly. I actually experienced both.

The Firewalker Pack is incredibly boring.
Wed Mar 31, 2010 10:58 pm
Yeah, it wasn't that great. Plus you can't save at all during the missions, and one of them with the geth can be a little tough, so you need to start the whole mission all over if you do die...
Wed Mar 31, 2010 11:46 pm
Was that with in the volcano thing? I haven't finished all missions yet. The screenshot over at BioWare has the Firewalker facing a Geth tank-thing.

Nope, sorry then, I should have used the spoiler tag maybe...
It's the mission to recover artifacts in the same system where the Reaper IFF needs to be retrieved. It's not that hard but if you get too close to the geth colossus, it just takes 2 hits to die, and you got to do it all over again...
Thu Apr 01, 2010 9:08 am
I see.
I was pretty bored with that DLC. I thought of it more as a "raiding-a-planet" type of missions like with the Mako before.
Thu Apr 01, 2010 10:13 am
I agree, plus whatever little fighting is involved is too linear and boring to be of interest. Your cannon does not overheat, and your projectiles must be heat seeking or something, so you barely even have to target at all. It was really just for the heck of having a vehicle to drive and a couple more planets to explore.
Oh well, given the overall quality of the game, it'd be dumb to complain.

Got Kasumi: Stolen Memory DLC... but ain't going over it yet.
Fri Apr 23, 2010 9:34 am
It was alright but not long enough, and it lacked the drama from other missions. I was a little bummed out to spend 12 bucks with tax on this...
Fri Apr 23, 2010 11:27 am
I think they should give us the feel of the previous (and only) ME1 DLC, heard that one's lengthy enough.
Sat May 29, 2010 12:55 am
Mass Effect movie anyone?
Link.
I am getting Tomb Raider nerves right now.
Sat May 29, 2010 4:39 am
I can't remember one single game movie that was good. Final Fantasy Advent Children? That also sucked big time. Halo? Doom? All fail. Perhaps ME 2 can change such a trend.
Sat May 29, 2010 12:17 pm
I personally think that they should not touch the game trilogy's storyarc and should just make it "in-universe."
