FFXIII

Anyone interested in it besides me? we have bioware fan boys but this has to be the first group of gamers ive seen on the net with no Square fantard. Im not a fantard in the least: but i admit they've made some of the greatest RPGs ever and this may be the first one i actually purchase. Especially since its on 360.

Well I can relate with things from VIII since it was released on the PC. While The Last Remnant blew the hell out of my unit as I think it was a bad port or so.

yeah i havent played a non 16 bit rpg in so long im kinda wondering how it will be. maybe when i finish the semester ill buy it.

Even though I thought X and XII were unreal, I never even got close to finishing XII (i think). Even though I hated some of the corney cinematic japanese moments in X I still thought it was overall a great game. XII's story was more to my liking, and less overdramatic. I played some older ones on my psp a couple years ago, they were great time killers as well.

Looking forward to XIII but really am not as super pumped as I thought I'd be. Might buy it once midterms are over the hill. I've heard some mixed reviews so far (from the Jap version), so it'll be interesting to see how she plays.

I'm just a huge fan of FF series. I've began to play them since PS 1 and played like 3 or 4 titles of the series and all of them were pretty good or even awesome. I just hope FFXIII will come out on PC otherwise I won't be able to play it.

By the way, this new girl seems to be pretty good looking but nothing close to Rikku who was my favorite.

Final Fantasy games really arent ones you can just pick up and play unfortunately. Most of the time they're an epic, super long journey. Who knows though?

A PC release would be worth trying though. Like they should make the ported version better than The Last Remnant.

No kidding. As a PC only owner, this just is a major let down. The game looks really really good too. The Last Remnant was just a fail though. BIG FAIL so this would have been nice one for PC RPG Genre.

That's really cheap, but I plan to get a PS3 down the road when I have more free time than now, so 360 doesn't really interest me.

Fucking love this battle system, theres some issues but its the most fun ive had in an rpg in a long time. Who knew?

Story is shit. Complete utter shit.
The paradigm system basically just makes each boss battle a "do i have the right characters in?"

but yeah, right around 60 hours and pretty close to finishing i think (every fight is a boss currently, even trash mobs)
