San Antonio guard Tony Parker left Saturday night's game against the Memphis Grizzlies with a broken bone in his right hand and could miss six weeks.
Parker broke the fourth metacarpal -- the bone between the bottom knuckle and the wrist -- near the end of the first half and did not return to the game. The injury apparently occurred during a scramble for the ball.
One of the last things the Spurs wanted to see happen. As the article mentions they're just 5-5 without Parker so far this season, though I still think they'll make the Playoffs. Portland might pass them for the seventh seed but I have a feeling that Houston and Memphis will come up just short in cracking the top eight, finishing with winning records but a few games behind the Spurs and Blazers.
