You may not have a video card capable of playing the game. What kind of video card do you have?
Fri Apr 30, 2010 4:34 pm
My system runs the game, i have to run it in the smallest window, bu it's not a bad bad thing, it's like running it on an emulator.
I have all my settings on low, to speed up the game, but i've noticed a couple of odd things, maybe you guys can answer them for me.
On menus, the game zips around very quickly.
If i run some modes, the gameplay is very quick, like in practice or blackout modes.
But when i play a game, i notice my game is actually very quick (no adjustment) when i'm in my backcourt, but the game slows down immediately as i play in the opposition half. When the opponent gets the ball, it's quick for them on possession. I'm very impressed by this game it clearly runs to a decent standard.. but it just needs that something to make it a bit quicker. I've upped the game speed, and that helps a lot, but obviously when i'm not suffering 'lag' (i play offline) the game is too zippy.
Also, i have sound in a game, but it's just the crowd. I have no commentary, but all my settings for audio are up to date.
I assume my sound card is suitable, but i'm puzzled why i have no commentary, but i get arena noise (music, chants etc)
Any anyone got any ideas? I will need to update my video card, but i'm not into specs at all, so i wouldn't know what i'm talking about.

Hmm. You need to update. First I've had an intel graphics card, but I see that its not enough and I bought a card (125 TL, 62,5 €). The name is NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT. Its great.
Sun May 02, 2010 5:00 am
My specs:
(desktop)
Windows Vista Home Premium
Intel Core 2 Duo CPU - E4500 @2.20GHz
1.00 GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce 7200 GS
Not sure what the spec of my sound card is, all i know is that it's realtek.
I can run this game in the smallest window, which isn't really a massive problem, but settings have to be low and the game is not fluid when i am in the opponents half, or they in my half.
Upgrade my video card? Or is it the actual PC performance as well?
Sun May 02, 2010 9:12 pm
It writes GeForce 7900 at least. GS is slower, GT is faster.

Hey guys I'm planning to buy a new pc, so far here is what my build is:
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 2.93 Ghz
Memory: 2GB DDR2
Hard Drive: 160GB
Video Card: Sparkle GT220 1024MB DDR3
MotherBoard: Gigabyte GA-G31M-ESC
it's on a very low price but I think it's nice.
So can I ran a smooth 2k10 or maybe 2k11 on this
Mon May 03, 2010 3:43 am
Of course it's a low price. That is old. It's still capable of running NBA 2K, but won't last for the future. Save up a couple more hundred and get something with at least four cores and DDR3 system memory, not to mention a top notch graphics card/chip. The GT220 is a budget chip from October of last year.
Mon May 03, 2010 8:43 am
Pdub, can you give me your recommendations for a low budget but can last long
Mon May 03, 2010 12:24 pm
What's your price range?
Mon May 03, 2010 12:49 pm
15,000 to 25,000 pesos. I think that is around 500 dollars
Mon May 03, 2010 6:22 pm
Like I said, save up a couple more hundred(dollars).
Tue May 04, 2010 4:03 pm
So, a GeForce 7900 GT video card is what i need to run the game?
Wed May 19, 2010 1:58 am
Yeah. I use 8500 GT.
Wed May 19, 2010 2:04 am
I got that, game runs very nicely at full screen res.
Sun May 23, 2010 8:18 pm
Good.
Sun Aug 15, 2010 8:56 pm
Can I run this game with
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor TK-57 1910 MHz
Installed memory 1.00 GB
Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Total capacity: 110.76 GB Free 26.60 GB
NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150
Mon Aug 16, 2010 12:27 am
