'Taker-HBK II at WrestleMania with HBK's career on the line? What do you guys think?

I really see HBK hang it up. :(

Honestly, I would've preferred to see them battle for the title one last time but a stipulation like that does up the ante a bit and might help give Part 2 a similar buzz to last year. I think the match itself should deliver, even if it's not quite on par with last year. I also think it'll be HBK "retiring"/taking some time off, with Taker doing the same shortly after Wrestlemania.

I'd forgotten about that.

I think this would be obvious like Undertaker on WrestleMania is an automatic win. Unless WWE pulls off a surprise...

Both are apparently pondering retirement so it remains to be seen who "retires" the other - as though these things are permanent in professional wrestling - but it does seem a good bet that Taker will remain undefeated.

Wasn't bad, I knew the "reality" of the show was going to be fake but this is a hell of a lot better than ECW.

The Danielson/Jericho match was awesome.
Opinions are my own.

Danielson is the only one that could make it to the very top, if you ask me. They're making his gimmick to be the guy that has no charisma, but he already showed more charisma than all the other rookies already, IMO.
Good to see that they show confidence in him by putting him against Jericho this early.

I'll have to check it out this evening, I haven't seen any of Danielson's matches before.

Caught WWE NXT yesterday. Heelish Cole was weird to listen to, much like when they tried to give JR a heel run all those years ago. I don't think it makes him any better, either. I'm not a fan of Matt Striker like a lot of the IWC is so I didn't really care for his role either. I think the announcers and interviewers should blend into the background a little more and the way they were scripting Cole and Striker's stuff makes them a bigger part of the show than I think they should be. Thumbs in the middle for me, but there's only been one episode so we'll see. The Miz being as over as he is still surprises me.

Edge is a face? And please do not make him the champ again. It's like giving Orton and Cena the title back and forth.

It's usually the case when someone returns after a long absence, especially when they come back and get involved with a program with a top heel.

It's fine by me. But making Edge champ again is another thing as well as Cena being champ again.

Yeah, the belt has been passed back and forth a bit too much for my liking. For storyline purposes, it loses its meaning when these guys are getting anywhere from two to four reigns per year. Still, the natural progression for the Edge/Jericho angle is for Edge to win the belt at Wrestlemania and I'd be surprised if they went against the norm and had Edge come up short.

What a horrible list. Nice to see Survivor Series back though. Over The Limit is kind of a good name, although for something else than a PPV, whereas Fatal Four Way is just stupid, and Money In The Bank doesn't make any sense at all since the event is confirmed to take place at Mania already.
More MITB winners -> more World Titles being passed around.

Who knows what they're planning on doing with MITB. At first it looked like they were dropping it from Wrestlemania but they haven't really developed enough undercard feuds to do that so it's back in. This report is listing the former Survivor Series as To Be Announced so I'd say they're still dropping that gimmick but haven't settled on a new one yet.

I downloaded the debut of NXT (I've been calling it Next, apparently it is N-X-T) it was great. I'll keep watching it, and it will be the only wrestling show I actually do give a shit about. The reality aspect obviously is fake as all hell but the storylines are interesting from the beginning. The Danielson/Miz stuff is good, the CM Punk stuff is good also... Danielson was great in the ring but I can't see him ever being a main eventer, he kinda looks like a special needs kid but he's better on the mic than I was expecting.

Unless he gets insanely over and starts moving a lot of merchandise, his size alone is probably going to restrict him to the upper midcard at best. I hope I'm wrong, but we all know how Vince McMahon handles smaller workers.

Seen Elimination Chamber, and seen how 'Taker was engulfed in flames momentarily. He's seen on-cam very much frustrated about the incident.

In order to win a World Title someday, he probably needs to go heel and win matches the same way Jericho does it today.
