ankle taping techniques

Hey can anyone provide me some links on how to do ankle taping? I'm not really ready to spend some money on ankle braces and they feel rather uncomfortable in my shoes. I tried you-tubing but it seems pretty complicated.

it is...requires practice to do it right and very hard to do on yourself i hear (wouldnt know, dont have feet). Got tested on it several times in college though.

Stop looking for easy way outs: buy a brace or practice taping.

If you find the lace-up ankle supports too bulky and uncomfortable, you might want to try one of these:

Some are adjustable, others aren't. Sometimes I'd tape but mostly wore those when I played and they did the job. They're a beat cheaper than the lace-up supports as well.

I have both of those that Andrew posted. The exact same one. They're pretty good and protects your ankle well but they are really uncomfortable and they really hurt your feet. Not everyone will have the same problem as I had but I think it will be similar for most people. If your shoe is about a size or half a size larger than your feet I think you'll be OK.

The ones I have are pretty slim so I can't say I've ever had that problem.

Those two you posted are slim as well but somehow they really squeeze my foot and it hurts like hell.

I guess they're not for everybody. Still, I'd say they're another option to explore if the lace-ups are uncomfortable and you're not confident with a taping.
