Now this is a portland trailblazer dynasty, i can't post pictures because for some reason my image software won't run while nba live is running and i can't take pictures so here goes, and now i have more time to dedicate to my dynasty story.

This is the first year of the dynasty and my free agents are Chris Duhon, Brandon Roy, Adam Morrison and Lamarcus Aldridge. This is a weak draft so i'll probably just draft anyone in the top 20, we only won between 30 and 40 games but we were just on a 6 game winning streak until our lost to the lakers. We started off at 3-18 and we have lost less than 45 games but only won at least 30 like i said. Now i haven't done much scouting because i hardly scout in weak or very weak players because of the quality of the players, i'd like to draft a shooting gaurd and or a center, i don't plan on drafting a second rounder. I don't know what i'm going to do with Duhon because, Bayless has been playing well this year. In at least 3 games off the bench he scored at least 20 points, so, i'll probably either not resign Duhon or draft a point gaurd and sign and trade Duhon. The reason i got Duhon is because he scored at least 40 points against us. Next season i'm going to work more on Bayless's offense and turn him into a playmaker, because two of my assistants are very good in offense and i only trained Bayless once so far and he improved in several abilities including three point shooting and midrange shooting, probably with my shooter assistant. I also have an athletic trainer and i've been using him to train my big men because i'd like to see my big men run the floor and be more athletic. As you have seen i have centers Joakim Noah and Greg Oden, they're back together again. What i mean is from the days of their national championship game between ohio state and florida. So i went ahead and got them on the same team. I plan on working on Noah's defense so he can become a dominate shot blocker, i don't think we'll make the playoffs this season because its march and we're at least 10 games under 500. We were at least 1million under the cap but i signed Gaffney to a three year contract to the mid-level exception deal. I p lan on making this a championship contdender, contender, in another year or two. And mauybe we'll win an nba championship in 4 or 5 years if we can add a couple of superstars, i'd like to have a better scoring big man than Aldridge even though he's played well this year quite a bit, i'd like to have a better back up big man to Aldridge who can shoot from midrange. I also need an allstar type of small forward or someone close there or at least someone who can score. I was thinking of trading for Teyshawn Prince because he can play defense and has a little, little bit of a midrange game, i like his defense though because we're struggeling in that area this year. The the positions that i'd like to boost with extra stars are, power forward, small forward especially and point gaurd, i'd like a dominate passer at the point gaurd position and then i can train my players in offense because with our great offensive assistants, this team has the potential to become a good inside, three point and midrange shooting team. Eventually i'll hire some defensive assistants, maybe just one maybe two, so this is it for now i'll have more updates after the end of the first season, tell me what you think.

Yeah, that's what i was thinking, they'll be coming soon.

Now its season two and i was able to trade for Stephon Jackson for added bench points, we won less than 10 games and its month number 2. Key free agents (We have more) are Greg Oden 5 mil, Joel Pryzbilla 7 mil and Joahkim Noah 2 mil. We won't resign any of these guys, we may or may not sign them in the free agent market of 2010, but our main target is Chris Bosh, why? Because he can block and score and i want this team to have a big front court, centers and power forwards, starters and back ups. Hopefully if and or after we sign a big power forward we can sign Oden or Noah if they're not taken.
Without resigning our free agents we'll definitely be under the cap, right now we're 11 million over the cap with Oden and Pryzbilla making it so. We'll probably draft a center in the first round but we won't draft anyone in the 2nd round, because i hate 2 year contracts i like long term 3 or more years. Plus this is an average draft,

We would like to get an offensive center in the draft someone who's a star, not a big star although we probably could get one if we continue on our loosing ways which i hope we don't. I thought that by getting Stephon Jackson we'd have some good bench points, but we're still loosing.

Coach:What do you want to do this offseason sir?
Gm:Well, there are a lot of big names out there but the main player we desire greatly is Chris Bosh. I'd like to sign him but the raptors might resign him, but if we can't get him during the free agent market then, we'll try to make a resonable trade, maybe sign Greg Oden and trade Lamarcus Aldridge and a couple of other playeres for Bosh if the raptors have roster space.
Coach:What are you going to do in this year's upcoming rookie draft?
Gm:Well, i haven't sent my scout out at all this year because of the bad quality of the draft but, i want a center who's good in midrange and inside scoring, althought offensive rebounding would be a plus because we need more offensive rebounders on our team.
Coach:Why did you make the trade for Brevin Knight? I mean, he's rather old and doesn't have many skills left.
Gm:Well, at the time i thought it was a good idea because for one, it did lower our over the cap money down to 11 million which was good. And within the next two or three years he should be a free agent and that'll free up some cap space. I have long term plans for our team to be at least title contenders and eventually several years down the road, we should actually win a title. I want this team to have an even number of veteran players and young players, we can't have all young players because most young teams aren't winning in this league right now.
Coach:Oh i see, well, if you can't sign Chris Bosh then, who would you like to get?
Gm:Well, i also have my eyes on Zack Randolph, who as you know once played for this team. But we would like any power forward who can score, and mainly i mean to score inside. Hey, we can't be a jump shooting team forever ya know?
Coach:What'll you do if you can find a quality center in the first round of the rookie draft?
Gm:Hm, good question, then we'll get a power forward in the draft or maybe a point gaurd, because we need a point gaurd to because our backup point gaurd to Bayless isn't that great yet, maybe if i sent my assistants out to train him, he can be good.
coach:One more question, what'll happen if we can sign any of the big names out there this off season?
Gm:Ok then, i'll have to sign one of the lesser names then, hopefully we'll be able to get either Noah or Oden back by then if we can't sign any of the big names. But i think we can get Noah or Oden because most of the teams will be going after the big names, but i'm pretty sure that with my upcoming plans this season that we can sign either a big name or one of the lesser ones. I'll see you later coach, lets start winning!

Gm:Well, last season we went from being 9-20 to 18-23, notible wins? Well, we beat cleveland twice, at home and at cleveland. We couldn't afford Chris Bosh nor could we sign him to mid-level, nor did we even try because i didn't want to hurt our chances of signing some young up and coming stars like we did with center Jason Smith. Too bad we lost Greg Oden, we tried to get Joahkim back but he had a better offer. I hated trading our rookie center, qualities he had? Well, he was a row player, he loved to dunk the ball but he would have had trouble grasping nba offense. We have a few free agents this season, the only one that i want back is our star point gaurd Jay Bayless! Bayless, do you hear me man we need you, Bayless come here, we have to talk.
JB:Yes sir?
Gm:Will you resign with our team this off season?
JB:I want to, i really want to come back, you did try to improve this team by adding Jason Smith, Al Horford, Marvin Williams and Chase Budinger. And they're nice young players and could be superstars in this league, but if you want me bad this bad then, i suggest that you start winning.
Gm:I see, well, i'm the gm and you should be concerned about having a job, but we will start winning because our players improved in different abilities a lot last season, we won't be that good this year because we're a young team with absolutely no veterans. But we shouldn't be that far below 500, but, if we make the playoffs this year, will you be back with us?
JB:Yes sir, I love this team and i love portland, its nice up here in the northwest. But you have to gauruntee that we make the playoffs.
Gm:I gauruntee, but remember Jb, i'm the gm and i make the rules around here, you don't boss me around, for one thing, if we are a bad team this year, we can get a much better player than you in this upcoming rookie draft, i don't know what the draft will be like this year but if its strong, then you should be very careful and watch your tongue because our rookie may be the starter over you if we resign you.
Jb:I'm sorry sir, anything elese? I have to see my girlfriend.
Gm:No, that's all, just start playing well this year, make some great passes and shoot the ball better, especially since you've improved in your offensive game last season, show me what you can do now!
Jb:Yes sir boss sir!
Gm:Well coach, do you think we have a good chance at making the playoffs this year?
Coach:I don't think so with this squad, we don't have enough defense, but we did get a defensive assistant who's very good in defense, so he should help our players improve quite a bit, he'll be with us for a while.
Gm:Yes and i see we hired two shooting coaches as well, but one of the coaches isn't good in his specialty so, we have to use him to train our players in defense and athletics because he's good in both as far as i know.
Coach:Do you plan on making any trades this year?
Gm:I don't know, I still like a better back up power forward than we have in Donte Cunningham, our assistants are going to have to work on his offense and defense quite a bit this year.
Coach:Yeah, i don't see him getting much playing time behind Marvin Williams, he'll be our go to guy i think as far as our big men are concerned, because he can shoot from outside.
Gm:Yes, that's the main reason i traded for him, but we'll definitely miss Aldridge's rebounding and blocking, our defensive assistant will have to work on Marvin's defensive skills then. Well coach i believe that's all i have to say now, its almost time for the season to start, lets start winning now!
Coach:Will do sir.

Season 3 updates:
Gm:Well, the draft is strong this year, we have many options to choose from, currently we're scouting a 6'2 200 pound shooting gaurd who's good in midrange and three point shooting. His name is Will Becker, but i have to say this, if we can get a point gaurd in the
1st round then that's what we'll draft first, our first game is at minnesota.
Box scores:
Minnesota 97
D.Granger 24 points
B.Wallace 18 points
________________
Portland 96
B.Roy 33 points
J.Bayless 19 points

Gm:Our first four games were all road games
Portland 110 Houston 97
Portland 96 San Antonio 89
Portland 105 Denver 103
_______________________
Gm:We started 0-1 and by the end of the week we finished at 4-1, so things are looking a ok for our team right now, Marvin Williams and Al Horford haven't been scoring lately, meaning less than 10 points per game and i was particularly expecting to see more scoring from Marvin Williams, i guess he's trying to get use to his new team right now. Our next game is at home against minnesota

Gm: We made a good trade with the golden state warriors, we were able to trade Al.Horford who's a superstar now and a small forward who hardly gets any playing time for Adriens Biedrins and a first round pick! Now we have more options in the rookie draft, we started scouting a point gaurd and that's what we'll draft in the first round because golden state is in the bottom 10 of the worst teams in the league, so if they keep loosing it looks like we'll be able to get a top 10 or top 15 point gaurd in the draft. Things are looking up for my trailblazers, lets keep our winning ways coach!
Coach:We definitely will sir, and i promise that we'll make the playoffs this year, for as you know we're several games above 500.
Gm:Yes indeed, go blazers! And on top of that we have 2 first round picks and a 2nd round pick in this year's strong draft!

Updates are coming soon, i've been without internet for a while because of a change of address, i hope you've been enjoying this dynasty. Hopefully, i'll be able to put some pictures in soon.
Fri Feb 12, 2010 5:27 am
Some pictures would make this good,it's just looking boring and all the same, this needs something like pictures,or Rich text as Lamrock said.
Fri Feb 12, 2010 12:54 pm
A bit of formatting never goes astray, and it's amazing what pictures do for a dynasty. Not many were reading mine until I got some in game pictures. Portland are a very intriguing team, as they have lots of depth.
Wed Feb 17, 2010 11:55 pm
Yeah you're right, once i get this new photo thing downloaded and if i can take pictures of the video game while i have my game on then pictures will be coming, it maybe in links though. Because i only know how to post links to pictures; but i'll try to add some pictures if this thing works.

Oh no i'm sorry, but that was a typo, he actually scored 26 and minnesota scored a total of 66 points, but i'm finished with this dynasty and my bulls dynasty so, i'm concentrating on my hornets dynasty right now.
