Knicks believe hotel was haunted

The Knicks were afraid, very afraid. And it had nothing to do with the Oklahoma City Thunder. For two days, several players had trouble sleeping because they were convinced that their downtown hotel is haunted. "I definitely believe it," Jared Jeffries said. "The place is haunted. It's scary." Eddy Curry claims he slept for only two hours Sunday night because he couldn't stop thinking about ghosts roaming the hotel. For years, guests staying at the Skirvin Hilton have reported ghost sightings and strange noises. Legend has it that sometime in the 1930s, a woman jumped to her death while holding her baby in her hands.

I really don't know what to make of this... I suppose it's a terrible excuse for them being destroyed by the Thunder considering the two star players who spoke up about the ghoolish hotel.

Maybe they were getting Scrooge-like visions of what their lives would be like had teams not been retarded enough to give them big contracts.

"You there! What day is this?"
"Today? Why it's the start of a two game road trip!"
"Fuck that, I'm going back to bed."

I guess it's not something the Knicks' players could use as an excuse, but we will never know whether their claim is true unless we're in their shoes ourselves.

The psychology of a "haunting" is supposedly very real even if the phenomenon is difficult to prove as being genuine, so I suppose in that respect a bad night's sleep couldn't have helped matters. Being a lousy road team aside from some upset wins still seems like a bigger factor.

Bulls and the Haunted Hotel

Why do the teams stay in the Hotel if some of the players are freaked out?

Well, it has been suggested that the Bulls are somehow connected with evil and the occult. ;)
