After a frustrating finish to my Clippers association, I have shifted my focus to the downtrodden Minnesota Timberwolves. A squad with an ugly court, an atrocious second unit and an overrated, injury-prone "franchise player". I'm going 82 games with this, but will be playing 29 per season, facing each squad once. Wish me luck and hopefully this gets as big as Nellieball.

Grizzlies?

First post updated. Archives and Roster Page to be set up soon. Opening article should be on its way. With everybody retiring their dynasties, I'll attempt to pick up the slack a bit and hopefully make my best association to date. I played the first game (against the almighty Nets), and it was a blast. Got a great set of sliders, and the game, though flawed, is much improved with the patch.

Hopefully this can spark some activity in the section. (and if not, easy path to the dynasty of the year award!)

Azzdogs, Naw, gonna hold off on trades until I reach today's date in game. Want to keep it fun and realistic.

dare, Yeah, I may add a narrative element to this. Hate to use the game team as you, but I couldn't resist. Its the one interesting dynasty squad.

I kind of liked the direction the old Wolves dynasty was taking, story-wise. Shame it didn't work out then. I tried to have story arcs in Nellieball, but they kept being undermined and nobody seemed to notice when they were abruptly ended. I have something in mind, but I don't have the knack for character development that you have. I'll see what I can do.

Probably won't bother with the season preview. I'll see what I can do for the inaugural post.

No. I always get messed up sim results, like the Warriors leading the league with a 40-20 record. Starting from the beginning of the year. Just played the Nets. Did the Nets prevent their 0-18 start with a win to open the year? Did Damien Wilkins sink the game winner? Did something completely different happen? Stay tuned to find out.

Its a shame my enthusiasm for Nellieball is shot. I blame the excessive dealing (by my team and by the other teams) for its demise. The first two pages of that were likely my ceiling for dynasty quality. (Plus I had a 14 page dynasty - a 14 fucking page dynasty!)

One more page and it would have been 15.

So much work for what was 90% a sim dynasty. Can't believe I bothered to do photoshoots for games I didn't play. So much time. Hopefully this can compare.

On the bright side, all this talk about how I hope this ends up as big as Nellieball is padding the reply total for this. 50 pages here I come.
