A jersey and number tutorial?

Postby cocobee on Thu Jan 15, 2004 11:51 am

I wanna make jerseys for this game (since I'm a retro buff) but I have no idea how to make the numbers and I can't for the life of me figure out how to evenly make the neck and arm trims for the jersey. Everything else for me is easy.
Last year, I think someone made a psd jersey file that really helped me out a lot with the trims and the neck.
The numbers are weird to me and how to make the letters for the names on the back of the jersey.
If someone would take the time to make a jersey tutorial--I would greatly appreciate it.

OK, look--I really want to learn. It doesn't seem like this community wants to help anybody out--so I'll try to do it the American way and pay for it. I'll pay pal someone for a template and tutorial. If interested--PM me--we can discuss it.

yeah 2000 jerseys were a lot easier and somebody (i forgot his name) came out with an awesome tutorial and even had different jersey textures. It was great! thanks anyways fellas--it's just frustrating because I'll practice and it's just not close to being decent--and i consider myself decent with photoshop too.Oh well

If you are wanting to cleanly copy the neck and arm trims over from an existing jersey pic to another you can use the clone tool. I just select the area I want to clone on the existing jersey and then move the cursor to the new file at the exact same spot as the existing file and start cloning. This assures that the trims a lined up correctly. You can also use guides to indicate specific spots and work around those.

No payment necessary. Especially if this doesn't help you at all. :)

Quick question fellas, I've made a red alternate 76ers jersey, but the names don't show up during gameplay but will show up during instant replays ?

What did i do wrong?

If you are using NFSHTool to do the jersey letters you have to use the "-nba" switch...

To disassemble the FSH:

nfshtool -nba pdhome.fsh

To rebuilt the FSH:

nfshtool -nba index.fsh

Thanks Danet, I did that.

Here's a screenshot of the jersey:

1. That's how it looks when I'm playing
2. That's from instant replay.
3. That's in instant replay, when I zoom in. It looks normal.

BTW--everybody's jersey works fine in my game, it's just the new one I made which is screwed up. Thanks in advance.
