Ricky Gervais Hosting Golden Globes

I thought he did a decent job and kudos to him for making jokes about the people there. Loved how he joked about Mel Gibson, Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie, and Colin Farrel among others (also had a jab at NBC/Jay Leno). However, have read some opinions that did not appreciate his performance. What do you guys reckon?

I thought he was pretty funny.

Yeah, I changed the title after seeing Benji's first reply.

I don't know what I was thinking at the time and the second time. I'm such a fool!

Too bad it wasn't either of them.

But yeah I didn't see them, heard Austria was pretty succesful though. Christoph Waltz won best supporting actors for IB. And some Austrian/German film won best foreign film.
Can't say anything about Gervais' performance, love him though.

I didn't see it, just snippets of his jokes... just some people bitching bout how his 'humour'... maybe Americans don't know how to laugh at themselves.

Didn't watch it, but I'm just happy to see Mad Men and Christoph Waltz get recognition.
