What forum smileys do you like and dislike?

Since we've been using and seeing these smileys for years, are there any that you enjoy using or that you perceive to be a demon spawn?

<-- Cheers me up every time I see this. If genuine laughter could be put into a little simple smiley, this is it. This should be the only laughing smiley in existence because all the other ones look like they're on the shitter constipated.

the rolling eye smiley when used to indicate sarcasm is fine. The problem is most of the impatient youngins use it like every other word.

I definitely agree with being one of the more irritating smileys, especially when it's misused in the patching sections (or maybe it's not, who knows). And that's the thing, when someone makes a request and follows it up with the rolling eyes, who knows what tone they're going for or whether they're aware of the tone it implies.

Sometimes we have similar problems with , but generally speaking people are more positive with that one.

I think some smileys are for a 'level' effect, like for shock or disbelief.


I think this is now obsolete since there's this now, which I think is better than the former.
