Kobe once again tops jersey sales

Story. Also, the top 15 from RealGM's press release:

1. Kobe Bryant – Los Angeles Lakers
2. LeBron James – Cleveland Cavaliers
3. Dwight Howard- Orlando Magic
4. Derrick Rose – Chicago Bulls
5. Dwyane Wade – Miami Heat
6. Kevin Garnett – Boston Celtics
7. Chris Paul – New Orleans Hornets
8. Paul Pierce – Boston Celtics
9. Shaquille O’Neal – Cleveland Cavaliers
10. Pau Gasol – Los Angeles Lakers
11. Carmelo Anthony – Denver Nuggets
12. Steve Nash – Phoenix Suns
13. David Lee – New York Knicks
14. Allen Iverson – Philadelphia 76ers
15. Kevin Durant – Oklahoma City Thunder

Derrick Rose and David Lee are the only names on the list that really surprise me, particularly Rose's ranking.

well you do have the third biggest market in the states ALL pulling for rose. If Lee was on any other team he probably wouldnt even break top 30. Sorta am surprised by rose being ahead of wade. Maybe we just have alot of heat fans here :P

David Lee FTW! That actually sort of surprises me. Good for him though, that means fans are finally realizing that he's a very good player.

if LEE played for boston, he'd probably be in the top 5

im surprised about Rose too. here in chicago he's hardly on TV doing commercials, endorsing whatever products. he's pretty vanilla during interviews too. he's comes off as a quiet, humble guy. i'm not trying to knock the guy. i just don't know what his marketing appeal is haha

with the exception of fans from Spain- who the heck wants to wear a Gasol jersey? maybe skinny kids that want to flex their muscles?

That's what I was thinking! Who would wear a Gasol jersey? Apart from his 'imposter' - read an article about someone who pretends to be Gasol...

Surprised to see Rose so high. Maybe people were really impressed by his performance in the playoffs in which he almost played nearly as well as Rondo.

I take personal credit for Rose and Pau being in the list. I'm surprised to see Kevin Durant in there. Nothing against him, I just wouldn't expect people to buy that pig-ugly jersey.

My sister picked me up a baby Nash one for the new one, so maybe that helped him. Great to see Lee on the list. I guess it's because he's the best player on the team in the biggest market.

Brandon Roy jerseys seem to be the most popular here these days, and I own one, but I suppose that's just Seattle (and probably Portland). All season ticket holders got Durant jerseys the last season we had them, and I wonder if promotionals like those are counted.

I'm surprised with David Lee being up there. I have all of those except Kobe and David Lee, but I just can't be stuffed picking up a kobe jersey.
