I'm expecting no more patches to be released to tell you the truth. Over at OS they have found a fix, you have team chemistry ON but player roles OFF. The unfortunate proviso, you can only turn player roles OFF at the commencement of the Association, so I'd have to start again. Meh. I'll just keep this one on hold & see if there is any fix without re-starting everything again, which is the last thing I would do (N)

I'll let you know when I find any fix about this issue it's a shame to re-start this one

Why don't you just sim the rest of the playoffs (all the teams will suffer from the excessive 3pt shooting so the odds will be even (no pun intended). With Channing Frye's Suns out of it, the only problem will be the potential low scoring games. Once the playoffs are simmed, just restart, making all the trades that happened in this one, and simming the first year. It would be a pain, but using 3 team trade + override can correct the draft order should the standings pan out differently in the new sim.

I haven't ruled out anything, but yes Lamrock, that is one option that I had considered. I won't do anything for about a month though since I may as well use 2k's stuff up as an opportunity to do some study for a change :(

I read this dynasty from page one man and I must say I really like what you did here. Great dynasty indeed X.

Thanks. It's actually not that great. Check out my Bobcats & Blazers ones in Live Dynasty Hall of Fame. They are better :P

Both are fantastic, with your Bobcats being my favorite dynasty of all time and reason I joined here. (On that note, bring back the 'Cats sig with Meka, X and That Guy!)

I'm playing with my wrist strapped and pinkie taped tonight. I went to play pickup yesterday and actually played fairly well... my hand is not as strong as usual but have been an effective spot up shooter because everyone gives me a ton of space cause they think im hurt pretty bad

I'd be shooting 50% from 3pt land if I had the sort of space & set-ups you were getting :P

Haha, yes. Even Devin the Destroyer (Who nearly got himself into a fight) was setting me up. (Y)

Hopefully, my form continues tonight. It's a bit tough to shoot with the strapping but I'm getting used to it. Jona will play PG and I'm sliding to SG.

This one is done. The latest 2k patch killed my enthusiasm for the game & I don't really have any desire to re-start, upgrade a year into future. I could start a new Association with a new team, but no team stands out & frankly the passion isn't there. Instead, once my exam is done I will be starting a College Hoops 2k8 Legacy with the Penn State Nittany Lions. CH2k8 is just such a deep game & the legacy puts even 2k10's Association to shame. Whether I post this legacy in this forum or not is still undecided. Perhaps if there is interest.

Am playing CH2k8 again, great game :P

As for this one, I'll probably do a sim of Finals plus Draft to see what would've happen & post it.

Cheers dare, truth be told, if I was as motivated as I was in the past I would do what Lamrock suggested & just start a new one sim a season ahead & force-feed trades, signings, who has what draft pick, edit draft classes, etc, etc but that would be a lot of work that I don't really care to do.

Either way I don't think this Association was of any calibre to worry about. It's not a Sit standout or a Hova specialty (hopefully he keeps his one rolling along).

Association/Legacy, same difference.

Maybe come mid-Feb after my exam I'll start up a CH2k8 Legacy thread. There is no point starting it up in Other Stories forums as nobody goes there, but if moderators don't mind me putting it here, might do so :P

Shame I don't have NBA2k8 anymore for importable draft classes from CH2k8 (N)

Actually I'm pretty sure mine is finished, too. Just don't want to call it quits because you never know. That's definitely bad to see these Ds coming to an end. But it was fun while lasting.
