So KG came first followed by Kobe, Nate Robinson, and Paul Pierce.

Thoughts?

No real surprises in those results.

Baffling proclamations to the media don't count here, otherwise he'd probably top the list.

LOL...Wow it would have figured Sheed would have been ranked as #1.
I'll do whatever it takes to win games, whether it's sitting on a bench waving a towel, handing a cup of water to a teammate, or hitting the game-winning shot.

I hate Pierce so much when he trash talk.. especially the look on his face when he dunked on Chris Bosh while kneeing him in the nuts at the same time.

I know he did it on purpose, which is why I hate the expression he had on his face so much. That's not a very sportsmanship act now is it?

How do you purposely hit someone in the nuts while staring at the rim trying to dunk? He Lead with his knee and Bosh jumped with him. It struck him square in the ball sack.

Do you hate Kemp for the way he pointed at Lister after he cradled on him??

phpBB [video]

Seriously, starting at the rim, expecting contact but how the hell do you think he is aiming for Bosh's groin?

Staring isn't unsportsman like IMO, but hey, he got T'd up for it so you should be happy. He didn't point, he didnt laugh, he didnt do any funny faces or anything, he just stared....why is that unsporting? If I dunked on someone and they went down in a heap like Bosh did I'd stare.

They're pretty inconsistent when it comes to "stare down" technicals, but then it's the same story when they T up players for complaining. Of course, if they called the latter to the letter we'd probably see half the players tossed every game.

So many trash talkers in Boston.

As for Paul Pierce's knee to the groin, I thought it was intentional too. But he probably did it to get more space from defender so I guess it can be justified.

I dont know. I just dont like it when players go up knee first intentionally. I know the main purpose for going up like that is to create separation and buy themselves some space but I just dont like it when players go up with their knee high on purpose like that. In my humble opinion, it looks like a not so clean way of trying to get space. When you go up like that someone will definitely get hit if there's contact. It's just not that clean in my opinion. And I never said that Pierce was aiming for Bosh's groin. What I was saying was that he went up knee-first intentionally, which isn't something every player do on every dunk or layup. I dont think he was aiming to hit Bosh where he hit him either, but I definitely think that he went up knee first and hit Bosh intentionally, he just happens to hit him in the groin too. As for staring, it's not unsporting or anything but Pierce didn't just stare at Bosh. The look Pierce had on his face while staring is not very sportsman-like in my opinion. He had this arrogant, dont mess with me look on his face (0:20) which is something I personally hate. Intimidating your opponent is one thing but what Pierce did was another. Maybe it's the difference in our culture too which makes us think differently. In my culture, the look Pierce had on his face and the way he stared down at Bosh is considered unsporting and disrespectful (and you know how respectful Thai people are towards each other). Going for a layup/dunk knee-first is also consider dangerous and could very well lead to a fight if someone got hit. In my country, if someone go up knee-first like that, we will definitely think that they did it on purpose and we'll get pissed off because it's just something you dont do everytime you attempt a layup or a dunk.

But then again, it's the NBA, it's tough, and I might be thinking too much. ;) It's definitely justifiable as all he did might simply be trying to get separation.

I'm inclined to give Pierce the benefit of the doubt on raising his knee in the first place, I don't think it was done to deliberately cause injury or harm and really more the result of the way he took off and bad luck as far as the collision with Bosh.

Raising the knee also helps with the jumping action. Nobody ever gets criticised for using their arms when they run now, do they?

It'd have to be intentional for it to be dirty. I don't know about you but I didn't't have enough awareness to know when I could elbow someone in the face when I would go up for dunks.

That dunk was sick as hell and the elbow looks unintentional. Good game anyways by both Jennings(not field goal %) and Bogut. Besides, he didn't give a dirty stare "I own you" look like Pierce did. That's the difference I think.
