Games Crashed After A Loss??

Mon Jan 19, 2004 1:20 pm

Whenever I lose a game in Dynasty Mode, I try to return to the main Dynasty menu and the game crashes and sends me back to the desktop? This isn't good because I will never lose a game without simulating and its etremely unrealistic!? Anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks

Does the game crash at any time, say, in Play Now mode?

Well, when I try to view MVP Candidates, Play 1 on 1, Edit Starting Lineups before a game, or while I'm in a game if I open the tast lisk or stats the game crashes when I hit "Quit Game". It is getting quite annoying because last game I had 58 points with Stephon Marbury and it crashed once again. I don't know for sure if it's when I open the tast lisk or whatever because sometimes if I just start a game and I want to quit it crashes but sometimes it doesn't. I will experiment a little bit to see if opening or viewing certain things cause it to crash and I will post in a day or 2.

Now it just crashes whenever I try to exit the game after its done or during the game? Does anyone think it might be because of the stuff that I've downloaded from nba-live.com and nbalive.org??

It could be an issue with CustomArt, or it could be your video card drivers. Are your video card drivers up to date?

I have no idea...I'm thinking of getting a new video card when i save up the $$ though so that might help?

Possibly. I'm thinking the problem might be one of the following:

1. The CustomArt bug
2. A problem with a patch you're using (corrupted file)
3. Your video card's drivers (out of date)
4. Your video card's chipset (not supported by NBA Live 2004)

If we can eliminate three of those possibilities as the cause of the crashes you are experiencing, we can find a solution to the problem. Or it might turn out to be none of those possibilities (though no others come to mind).
